I fixed the problem of having to look for the stupid garage door opener....My opener is a Genie....Look at the pictures and you'll see a tiny black switch near the console. I hard wired my existing remote to it...the remote is in the console..works great...be sure to use a small quick dis-connect fitting for the opener....or you won't be able to install the switch.

I put mine in the little mesh pocket on the drive train hump. |
