I also heard the air wasn't very good, Laddie was about a half a second off the pace. |

Sorry about this thread then,,,,,David was on the attending list. Hope they just dumped Ed's body into the sea, as not worth saving for research study or transplants! I figured that the air would be dense with humidity after the hurricane storms that passed through that area. |

Oh man, just got back - what a blast. They didn't shoot Ed because he broke his hip, it was because he had the slowest 1/4 mile time - 18 seconds.

Just a quick picture from yesterday's cruise down Highway 90. Oh - almost forgot, Ed's time was in the PT, not the Prowler. |

Hi Guys! I posted a little of what happened at the drags, etc. in the Events section. We had a great time - great picture Kendra!! That was on the strip at the cruise Saturday. Laddie beat a Vette at the strip(not sure if it was a Z06 or what - didn't pay attention to that part), but the Vette owner was also a new Prowler owner and unfortunately I have forgotten their names (sorry about that - hanging out with Ed I guess does that to you ). The road course was really great at the track and hopefully next year we can talk everyone in to that!!! DavidN didn't make it and PaulR and Lewis weren't there either. Not sure what happened, hopefully no one had car troubles and turned back home. We left around noon on Thursday and were behind the rain the entire trip so it was a great drive with good weather. Ready to pack up and go again!!! Thanks again Laddie and Karen for a wonderful time!! Tami and Ken |

Kendra or Tami - How about a car count? Go ahead and count Ed, he rarely drives his cat to events Pictures were great! |

A/C, there were probably about 30 cats there, total. Not all together, ever, at one time. They had 20, I think, in the parade Saturday. I think they said it was 16 at the track. Some of the locals came and went and some had a few mix ups since they were not staying at the same hotel. Traffic was pretty heavy at times so it was difficult to maneuver, but not nearly as crowded as Detroit. It is two lanes each way along the beach for 25 or 30 miles. Some did not arrive until Friday or even Sat. and some only came for the drag racing, like JP and Rich and Linda Ware, for instance. Some weasel even showed up in a PT instead of a Prowler. You missed a great time but we talked about you a lot. No one said anything good about you, not to worry. lol. |

I believe Kendra will be looking for a drag strip in Florida now!! Rich Ware had to stand in front of their car to get Linda out so he could have a turn down the track. Laddie beat a Z06 for the loudest cheers of the day. Ed had a bye run in his PT because the track golf cart was being used at the time. Tami is going back to Texas to tell all that will listen that she beat a nitrous equipped KAT !! Bob Goetz "helped" people figure their dial in times and he won the overall bracket - go figure!! |

Thanks Ed for the car count. On the pre-register list I thought I counted 48 cats to attend. We had 10-12 cats fail to show at Colorado, but it seems many more dropped out for this event. Wonder why? Glad nothing good was said about me, I feel better now Laddie - thanks for putting on this event,,,,,,wish I could have made it. |

quote: Hey - you beat me to the finish line. That means you won. A Camaro SS guy three weeks ago had a faster ET but I bewt him by two car lengths due to better reaction time. He may have fatser time slip, but I won the race. Enjoy your victory and I hope you have more. Marty |
