I have an opportunity to trade my Prowler in for a Viper RT/10...but the viper is a 99 and mine is a 01...I know that the vipers are much more expensive but I still feel like I'm getting ripped off...??

I've always wanted a Viper but too expensive....what do you guys think.????
The Viper only has 5K and mine has 2K......???????

Well, you can get a car that you see a good amout of (depending where you live) or you can have a Kat that make heads turn no matter where you go.

I know what I decided…

There are a million vipers out there and alot more to come so a deal you miss this week will be there tomorrow and the next and the next.

But, Prowlers have stopped production and there are less then 11K of them out there.

I'd keep the prowler and add a viper when you can afford both.

....only 15,000 Vipers not a million out there.

Headturning..........Prowler wins easily
Crowdpleaser.........Prowler wins easily with all age groups
Fun Driving..........Prowler wins
Sheer Speed..........okay, Viper wins
Future Availability..Prowler will be more rare
Depreciation.........Prowler should depreciate less

I agree with "keep the Prowler", add a Viper later.

(that said, I love my Viper)

I have been fighting that decision for over a year now, and for the past month, convinced myself that I was going to get a Viper RT/10. And then yesterday, I once again decided to keep my Prowler after reading a review of the new 2003 Viper SRT. I have decided that the Prowler has more of the features that I want versus the Viper RT/10 and feel the Prowler looks better also. I feel the Viper SRT has more of the features that I want and I will wait until one becomes available to the non-Viper owning populace adn re-evaluate my Prowler ownership again at that time. I have once again decided to not get the Viper RT/10 and to keep my Prowler... at least for another month.

Keep the Prowler....I read the review of the Viper, and daily liveability seems harsh IMO if it's your daily driver.

All I know is there is no way I would trade my Prowler for a Viper unless the deal was so good I could sell the Viper and get a Prowler with plenty of money left over. We all know that is not going to happen. Also what does the Viper owner know about the Viper that makes him want to trade for a Prowler. You have to do what makes you happy.

The figure I found states 16,546 (does not include 2002 models) plus, the viper is not out of production.

Don't get me wrong, they are a great car but, the author of this thread will have plenty more chances to get a viper (new) someday versus the prowler (only now)

I really appreciate all your opinions and I agree with all of you that the Prowler would be more of a head turner and at the same time it's fast..(not as fast as the Viper) but it's quick enough for me.... I guess it was just the heat of the moment flare when I saw it...that's all...don't get me wrong I think the Viper along with the Prowler are some the greatest looking vehicles' out on market right now and for a good time to come. Thanks for making me come to my senses..I'm keeping the Prowler... The Bright side is that if anyone of you want to trade your prowler in, I'm sure that they'll give you what you owe or more...they did to me...they really wanted my Prowler bad... The salesmen still call me but I've told them to forget about it!!
Thanks everyone!!
