Yesterday (friday) am on the way to work for the umpteenth time the tranny let me down again, for the past few weeks this thing has caused major havic in my life and confused about half a dozen techs fixed quits and fixed again, this time towed into the dealer they had a used 01 Orange on the floor with 510 miles so I said if you can do this and get me bought with a lender I will take it, in an hour I was on my way in a New (used) cat, looking at the two side by side I got tears in my eyes over what I had just done to my loveing black Kitty, I will miss her dearley and can only hope that someone will be able to correct the problem with the trans, way out of warranty over 43,000 miles, then go on to a new partner that will have the love affair with her that I did. I was able to get to Norb just in the neck of time to change the color of my new hard-top from black to Orange am taking the hitch and borla system of the black, but think I will leave the rest stock for now (OH YAH?) I have this deep sick feeling in the pit of my stomach but I sure it will pass in time, as some of you know I have consider this move for a few weeks and have offered advice for that I thank you, you are turely a great and understanding group of people. One more thing two hours later a owner of a Chrysler store called me and offed me a service directors job, we meet on Monday at a out of the way town half way between us to discuss the job. So I guess the Prowler Gods work in strange ways. We shall see on Monday. I will always miss my Black Cat thank you my friends for being here curtis ------------------ |

CMBLOCKS, Sorry to hear about your loss. Since I own a Black I can understand your feeling. To bad you could not have gotten another Black. Buutttttt, if you have to get another color then Orange is the only one to go with. BUTTT, do ever forget Black was your first choice. Love it like it was your first. Happy Prowlin... Hey Curtis, It's okay to morn the loss of your baby. It's also okay to love your new cat. We love all of our children err I mean cars and you are not betraying the black cat by moving on with the orange. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do and your old cat knows that. Cruise on and have fun with your new car. Doc-Man |
