Hi POA GANG ! As a new owner I thought I'd ask what company has the best price on car insurance ? Mine would be classified as a " Pleasure " car. I thought perhaps companies that specialize in unique autos, such as Grundy's might be able to provide the best rate. Look forward to your replys'. Duane |

Duane, which company has the lowest price here in Ohio has nothing to do what might be the lowest price out there. It varies wildly from state to state. I pay less than $ 600 a year for mine but if you are in NY city it is probably at least twice that high. Accidents, law suits, stolen car rates all determine the local insurance rates. Even the zip code will change it within a city. You need to compare just in your immediate area. No one can help you on this except the locals. Make a few phone calls to the bigger companies. |

Duane: I took delivery of my '02 Kat on 7/12/02 and the insurance was effective 7/11/02. Mine is listed as a "pleasure vehicle" with no mileage restrictions and I pay $720.00 a year. It is through METLIFE. Randy |

I'm thinking of going with Grundy's next time due. They have "agreed value" on the replacement cost of a total loss, which I deem very important. By comparison, they quoted me $590 per year compared to $580 which I pay State Farm. For $10 more I would get the "agreed value" I set. Worth thinking over. ------------------
