I have been looking at a bunch of prowler pictures over the past few months. I got to thinking... when I get mine, what would I do to personalize mine?

So, will those that have pics online... share them with me/us. I want to see the best of the best. Who has the best flames? - best custom paint? - best polka dots?

I know... yellow is the best color... but stock paint does not win this informal poll. I wanna see custom artwork.

Thanks

Here is mine. My flames are done with a PPG colorshifting paint - that is why the flames look different from different angles.

There is one of my decklid around somewhere too - I will have to find it... has the batlogo on it

Adam,

I think we all think we have THE BEST custom paint. Here is some of mine

http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/image_uploads/AAA/amacat.jpg
http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/image_uploads/RRR/river3.jpg

You will have to do what suits you. I gave the painter ideas of things I would like to see that I had seen on other cars. NOT A SINGLE PROWLER, but that is because I had not seen another custom painted Cat when I did mine.

I have to say both of those are sharp cars. You are right when you say I will have to do what suits me. but by looking at others... it will help me decide which base color works best with each type of flame job/artwork. Since I do not have a prowler yet (soon) I can allow the images i look at to influence my color choice. For instance I love the Black Tie... but, with that paint, I would not go crazy with the custom paint. However with a prowler purple one... I feel I could do more with the custom paint. Make sense?

Plus, I am bored at work... and what better way to waste time then looking at prowler pics and reading this message board.

Any more pics?

One other thing about custom paint...YOU HAVE TO SEE IT IN PERSON TO APPRECIATE IT

I have not taken a picture yet of my cat that really shows the graphics and with putting together the Prowler calender I can attest to others trying to get the perfect picture but having a hard time. Cliff must have sent me 15~20 shots, chromalusion just has to be seen, His flames look great in what I saw but had to look at several to get to LOOK he gets with walking around it one time.

Most people tell me they don't care for the pictures of my car but once they see it they say they like it, might be that they are trying to be kind to my face LOL

For under $1200 price range I( am VERY happy with mine.
http://prowleronline.com/scrapbook/newscrapview.php?id=223

There are a lot of Prowlers with great custom paint. Some of the Chromeissusion paint is awesome.

Since mine is daily driver and receives it share of nicks and weather related wear & tear, I chose not to spend more for show quality complete custom paint.

That flame job for only $1200!?! That looks good in the pics, I would have expected it to cost more than that.

Also, what modifications to the enginedoes that prowler next to yours have?

It helps that the guy that flamed it was married to a lady I work with. She drove it home and he did the work in a paint bay in their garage.

I assume the car you are talking about is the purple one belonging to Marc Scarbury and his twin throttle bodies sticking through his hood. Dean at ProwlerPro did his work. Here is link to Dean's website:

I have a 2001 Mulholland also with Chromallusion flames and a large "Kat" graphic on the back. The back gets more points and stares than the flames, but the flames are done in blues and are almost a ghostly appearance.
http://prowleronline.com/scrapbook/newscrapview.php?id=231

Pictures don't do the artwork justice. I think I need a better camera and scanner.

When you do custom work, you gotta do what makes you happy and makes your statement.

i agree.. that yellow with purple sure is sharp. I also like the subtle flames on the orange one. total opposite ends of the custom paint spectrum... but both are sharp. Also, the first responder, with the purple color shifting flames looks great.

I love the prowler... you can't beat a car that looks this great with flames.
