I recently found out that my Silver 2001 Prowler had a broken rear sway bar bushing and rear CV boot with a hole in it. The grease from the cv joint had made gotten all over the rear suspension and inside the rear wheel. I have not had to take any of the Prowlers in for service, the thought of the lot porters trying to force the door "all" the way open and dragging the nose over the curb just about made me ill. After talking with Dick, the Prowler tech at Russell Whatley Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep in Mineral Wells, Tx, I decided to give them a shot at fixing the damage. He is a Prowler and Viper tech. The parts were ordered Friday and came in on Monday. I dropped the car off Monday night and they showed me where they would park it inside the service area for the night. Had it fixed and ready to go by noon Tuesday. It was still parked in the same service bay when I went to pick it up. No extra miles on the odometer. No scraps under the nose. Nice to know that a good Prowler tech is only a few miles away. ------------------ |

Steve - glad it went OK for you. I have to switch dealers because the one I have been using lost their Prowler Tech. The serice manager was the only one to ever get in my car and it always stayed inside. right next to his office. I need to get the tranny serviced so when the Prowler Tech at the new place returns from his honeymoon, I will taking the KAT in. Happy Prowling Marty |

Steve: Great to hear that all went well. Mine goes in this afternoon to Neal. I'm not worried about taking to Neal though. Take care and hope to see you and Deb soon at one of the events! Tami |

Glad to hear you had a good experience. My dealer and prowler tech are as careful as I am and really seem to enjoy the Kat's visit. I had to have an oil change and headlight. My brother's statement "Oh No, it's time to trade it in..but for what? lol" There is nothing like a prowler! Gordon |

Nothing like peace of mind...... I took mine in yesterday for oil change and trunk buffing (free). It was a truly joyous experience, and everyone had the utmost respect for the car. It was fantastic. Wldorf Chrysler deserves to be a 5 star that they are! |
