First, some background. My dad is a long-time Mopar man; I believe his first car was a '32 Plymouth. He likes the Prowler, and for his 75th birthday this November I'd like to rent one for him for the day. However, he lives in Redding, CA and the nearest place I could find that rents Prowlers is in Sacramento. Tim |

I think I speak for most of us on this site when I say these cars are very special to us. Loaning one to a stranger is probably not going to happen (much less a relative). Think of it as asking any of us to loan you our wives for the day and ......o.k., bad analogy, some would say sure, take her and here is $250 for you to not return her. Seriously though, I think the liability would be too great for an individual to just loan a stranger (sorry) their car for the day. Not even sure if insurance would cover a stranger. Art has the best idea, take dad to Vegas and he can have his pick of exotics, see some great shows, and loose the shirt off his back (Ha!!!) Alot more exciting then borrowing someones car for the day. |
