I had a dream. I dreamed that someone stole my Prowler. I can't remember many details. Needless to say, I have had more restfull nights. What about you??? I know many of you are more nuts about your Prowler than I am about mine - so you must have dreamed about it... What did you dream??? ------------------ |

VCD: Just last night, as a matter of fact. I had blown a fuse and NOTHING on the car worked. I was replacing each fuse one by one when I woke up. (OKAY, I know, I'm nuts. Go ahead, all you armchair shrinks have at it. You'll eat your words when the Twins win the World Series AND the Vikings win the Super Bowl.) (Oops, sorry. I was dreaming again ) Kevin ------------------ |

The dream state is a plaec where you sometimes can solve problems you couldn't figure out during the day. In this state the obvious becomes, well, the obvious. I haven't had any dreams about our prowler but, then again, I haven't had any real problems or modifications that I was contemplating. I have solved many a software issue though at 3 in the morning while sound asleep, awake the next morning and find out my idea in the dream was right. Bizarre to say the least. |

YellowFever: I would have to agree with you. Lots of problems get solved while asleep. I tried to convince my company that I was get more problems solved while I was sleeping and should pay me accordingly.( I did not tell them I was creating them). They would not buy that, now during the day I am find my self trying get to the front of the unemployment line so I can get home to solve that problem. No Prowler dreams, just trying to figure how to raise the money for more mods... DanG. |

I dreamed Sue's 4 year old grandson was ripping the top on the prowler. I told them to keep him away from the car. Then told them about the dream Maybe that is why they don't come out anymore. |

Dreams....the ability to live another life, or maybe THIS is the other life....who knows WHICH is real.....I have a car dream every few months, it is about the first new car I owned, a green 68 GTO conv...in this dream I go to a parking lot, and discover my old GTO is still sitting there waiting for me....the top is still down(sold the car 33 years ago) and the paint shines like it has a fresh coat of Zaino....the keys are in the ignition, I get in the car and it starts up just like it is still 1968, I can distinctly hear the rumble of the big 400 cubic inch engine...I can feel the Hurst 4 speed shifter with my right hand while feeling the woodgrain steering wheel with my left....I usually spend quite a while getting the feel of the bucket seats and looking at the gages on the dash.....finally, I shift it into gear, ease out of the lot and drive up the same street on which I had a real life major altercation with that car...I pass the "scene of the crime" and see myself as a 17 year old kid again, still surrounded by police cars and officers with their guns drawn on me....then I pass on by the cemetary and the dream usually ends there....when I have this dream I know each time it IS a dream and will not last long, so I lean back and enjoy the ride....also have a similar dream where I go to a garage and open the door, finding my triple black 69 Chevelle SS 396 conv....I also drive this car for a short time....last time I had this dream I got up the next morning and really had a difficult time deciding if it was a dream or not....took me quite a while that day to realize the car did not exist anymore....my first 2 new cars both met a terribly and untimely end....luckily I was not involved with either....both were totally destroyed in less than 2 years from new, the GTO was torn completely in half and the Chevelle was stolen 3 times from the lot I traded it in to, before being flipped over several times and destroyed by the next owner...I still have pictures of these cars when they were new along with the 16 year old love of my life....funny, don't know what ever happened to her either...many happy times cruising to "Born to be wild" in the summers of 1968 and 1969...beer runs to Ohio etc etc etc ......sorry so long, could have typed for hours... |

quote: Same here. I have solve strategy video games that I couldn't get past in my dreams. But on the subject, this past Monday I dreamt that someone vandalized my prowler. Ripped the top out of the catches on the trunk lid and spray painted all different color grafitti all over the seats and top. I was at a shopping center of some kind buying his and her bicycles that we were riding across the lot back to the car....the weird thing is, where the hell was I thinking I was going to put two bikes?!
