My partner's daughter just passed away from cancer at the age of 40. It would be nice if you all gave a minute of your time to wish her a good trip to her next life. She was a good kid who didn't deserve had happened to her. Her name was Lynda. JRL |

I am very sorry to hear of this news, it is always such a sorrow, and only harder when one looses a child no matter how old they are. Yes a short prayer is in order. curtis |

JRL 40 is way to young, our prayers go out to her family. My wife and I we're just at one of our neighbours funeral yesterday he was 50, a fireman in great looking shape outside anyhow but had a heart problem he didn't know he had, we just never know when the call will come. PK |

She is in all our prayers today. I heard a very good sermon about this a couple of weeks ago. He was talking about the one thing money can't buy you and that is time. Each of us has a finite amount of time here. You don't know how much that is (or isn't). He went on to say that each day should be more precious then the last because you are one day closer to that end. He went on to say that most of us envision living to be 80-90-100+ (if we really think about it at all). The reality is though that you might not make it to 40. I was at a serious juncture in my life and was debating what to do and this convinced me to quit my partnership with work and become a fulltime stay at home dad with my wife and kiddos (6 and 4) at the age of 45. Life IS too short folks, enjoy what God has given you daily and live each day as if it was your last. Godspeed to Lynda, ------------------ Driving a car is just transportation, |

God saw you were getting tired and a cure was not to be so he put his arms around you and whispered "come to me" with tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away although we loved you dearly we could not make you stay a golden heart stopped beating hard working hands at rest God broke our hearts to prove to us, he only takes the best. Rest in peace Lynda This message has been edited by butchcee on 08-23-2002 at 11:18 AM |

It is always sad to hear that someone dies of cancer. Both Gina's grandmother and my grandmother died of cancer. But to die at such an early age is a tragedy. Our sympathies to the family and loved ones. ------------------ |
