I raised the new prowler up on Sunday and was using some Harley chrome polish on the aluminum underbody. That got some of it to really sparkle. So now I am obsessed. What is the best stuff/way to make the undersides shine like it was chromed? Thanks, ------------------ Driving a car is just transportation, |

I've used Mother's metal polish. Seems to work really well. |

Semi Chrome I've tried a lot of different stuff and this seems to work the best for me. The key is plan on hours polishing the frame but the results are worth it. When I keep it up for the shows I was always ask if I chromed the frame ------------------ |

Over the years I have polished polished plenty of aluminum. There are many polishing compounds, but the big difference is time and patience to use either elbow grease or a power buffer to make it shine. Depending on the quality or alloy of the aluminum casting you may need the usual sequence of coarser cutting compounds to fine polishing ones. With the Prowler frame most ordinary one step aluminum polish will make a major difference in the shine. ------------------ |
