This is too funny.... Last week, I was buying dinner at a drive-through in my Prowler. The cashier was a kid, who was fascinated with my car. He said that he had a poster on his wall of the car, etc... and then he said... "Did you know that the last Prowler was just built and that it was sold for $450,000???" Wow, Mike, what a deal you made!!...lol... I corrected him to let him know that the "sale price" was actually $175,000. ------------------ |

Yea, It's kind of funny how the story changes by word of mouth.  The real deal was $175,000 hammer price + $25,000 commission to Christies for a grand total of $200,000. They tried to hit me for NewYork state tax on the whole $200,000 but after some arm wrestling they agreed to totally drop the tax. |
