While riding the train in Lancaster a bunch of us were talking about the questions, comments etc that we hear constantly. Someone said they hate it when they get asked, "Is that a kit car?" or "Did you build that?". I said that you should reply, "Yes, I did build it and I just finished it this morning and they paint may still be tacky, so please don't touch it." Bob Silsby liked that line so I thought I would pass it on. Alley Cat would charge $ 10 for using it but I am only going to charge $ 1 for every time you use it. Send that $ 1 to Save the POA fund. |

quote: Come on guys (and Ed), obviously this father was just trying to keep his daughter away from any guy that would own a kat. Just can't trust those boys. He's got a long list of other excuses for all the rest of the cars I'm sure. Hey we are a pretty unruly bunch! ------------------ |

Stopped at a rest area yesterday while out Prowlin ....4- teens jumped out of there car & hovered around the Kat. They asked me if it was a Prowler. Then asked ..How much did it cost? I said ....I don't know ....my girlfriend bought it for me! Well how fast can it go? Said .....I don't know...The speed limit is 70mph. As I was leaving they said ...light em up! I said can't.....It's illegal......as I was laughing pulling out. Damn I love this Car!! |

Ed, I have to admit that is a pretty good line. However, I would really like to know the line you used on Sandy the first time you met her. That had to be a good one too! LOL And before you try to come back on me, I didn't need to use a line on Lucy. Her optic nerve is warped. As long as I keep her away from the eye doctor I'll be okay! Hey Ed, I just edited my post. After I read it I realized I had gone too far. I apologize. I got too hyped about keeping up with you and that Mills guy. Sorry. Hope I didn't offend you. |

Niteman, don't worry about offending Ed. He and Alley Cat are oblivious to anything offensive. They will just take it and try to make $10 or at least a buck off it. |

Niteman, I did not see the original version so I am offended that I did not get to read it. If Lucy has a warped optic nerve, you two ought to get along fine since you are warped, period. lol. It was great seeing you guys again, even if you are warped. Lucy should get some type of award for hanging out with you. Sandy is very smart but totally gullible. She still believes everything I tell her. Go Figure! |

Donny, I am offended by being lumped in with Big Foot. I heard he was making a move on Edna while I was out of town. She is a dead ringer for me so I am concerned to say the least. |

Ed, Thanks for the abuse! I feel better now. Not to get too mushy but I just feel privileged to be part of such a great group of people I would hate to accidentally do anything to jeopardize that. If I can figure out how to send you a private message I will let you know what I had posted originally. As far as me being warped, why do you think I fit in with you guys? LOL |

Ed, This is my first time posting so be kind. I thought the best was when a teenager came up to Bob. Then said I hope when I'm as old as you I can afford a prowler too. For those who got to go to Lancaster. You are a great group and I can't wait to see you again. Thanks to Mike and his group. You sure put on a great party. Thanks to the many who worried about my back. And kept asking if I was alright. Words can't say what a great bunch of people you are. Till we see you again keep safe. Carol Silsby |

Carol, way to go, first post. I missed Bob getting slammed by the little kid. My one granddaughter used to always ask me where my hair went. Now whe keeps asking why I have lines on my forehead. I tell her it was due to her dad and her uncles. Kids say the darndest things. |
