Just wondering? Todd said that he spent the day in "Orange", how do you make up your mind as to which color your going to drive on any given day. You must show up late to all cruises just trying to make up your mind. Happy Prowlin ------------------ |

CJ I think your idea is a good one drive the one with the least miles, I think if the day ever arrives that I get blessed with another one I will drive one to work as I do now and use the other for weekends. It would be nice not to have all the squeaks, chips and scratches when on a cruise with others. Todd, driving the cleanest is cool but finding the time to wash three + all the time would be tough (How much do you pay Howler cat to keep them clean?) and he supplies the girls, Man what are friends for? Howler cat how would you like to relocate in SF bay? Happy Prowlin ------------------ |

Relocate to SF and drive the prowler with the top up. Nahhh... Hmmmmm, Let see... Ok! Curtis, Here's the deal. If I can put a Hooters Cruise together before summer ends, you guys up North have to come down. I think that there's only "generic" Hooters in SF. I like brand name much better. I have never set one up before but I am willing to learn. Heck, maybe I can get Alley Cat and his AZ gang to come over also. What do you think Todd? Oppps...I think I've just open a can of worms... ------------------ |

quote: How tough can that be in CA where you guys say you have the perfect weather for driving your cats? How dirty can they get? lol! I take care of my two and it doesn't take up that much time if you don't let it get out of control! |

If I am going to a Prowler get together, I try to find out what cars will be there and if possible I take a color that will not be present. Or I use Todd's method and take the cleanest one. I try not to put up any of the cars dirty. If you get behind on the car washing at my house you end up spending the entire weekend with your hands in soap suds! If I am going out just cruising by myself, I take the Silver Prowler because it is the easiest to clean. ------------------ |

Due to the fact that uncle Harley Davidson make me work on Sat. Off Sun and Mon I have trouble making weekend cruises but for the Hooters thing(s)I would try to get the full weekend off, just dont set it up for the 13-24 of Sept Kathy and I will be on our road trip to ok. city. CJ even in sunny ca. my car can get very dirty with the daily drive to work and back, I normaly cover it but once there is a coat of dirt you cant do that and where I live the water is so hard its tough to get all the water spots off. Maybe not Curtis and then again you could if you wanted. All I'm saying is that we wash and wax it really well in the Spring (even though it was put away perfect and comes out perfect) and then again right before it's put away for the winter. In between, I dust it every time I take it out, leave it covered in the garage to cut down on any dust. I use Meguair's Detailer OFTEN and it always looks great. Don't have to wash it. Washing all the time means waxing all the time and who wants to do that!? My cats look great! There have been instances when it's been caught in the rain and then I had to wash. |
