Attended my first local drive-in event this evening in the big parking lot of a local watering hole.

Got there about 2 hours into it, found a spot and backed in.

10 seconds...15 seconds tops. A dozen people all at once. There were always at least 6 people around the Prowler all night (okay, I was only there about an hour and a half). I was thrilled and petrified at the same time. I felt like a nervous father, making sure no one harmed my new baby.

Met some great people, many of whom commented, "Thanks so much for being here. I've always wanted to see one of these close up."

Pretty cool. There's only one other Kat in our area, and he's never around, so apparently this was a real treat for folks. I plan on going back next week...and the week after.

Damn, this is fun!

Kevin - I think the most fun part is backing up into the stall with all the people watching!!! NOT

Stand back and let the auto fans view the cat,,,,,,,,but keep a finger on the remote control panic button, just in case. I like to scare the hell out of those that overly touch or reach inside the car

Kevin - isn't it great seeing people getting excited about your car? Glad to hear you had a good time.

I did.

Sorry about the delay in responding, we were out of town (in-laws, doncha know!)

Actually, it was my wife, Jo Ann, who brought it to my attention. She's pretty excited about attending.

Can't promise just yet, but we're working on it.

Thanks,

Kevin

Kevin,

2.5 years ago when I first got my Prowler there was less than a 1000 of them on the road.... you should have seen the attention, comments and questions I use to get at local shows and large Car shows. I would attend large car shows and there might have been ONLY 2-3 prowlers attending at most.

It use to take me hour to go and get gas at the local gas station because people would pull in off the road and ask questions. 2.5 yrs ago I went into PEP boys and parked the Cat in the back of the parking lot, close to a TGI Fridays. When I came out there was 30+ people (Practically the whole TGI Fridays) in the parking lot looking at the Cat.

Now things are a little different and there are more Cats on the road, but I get about same type of attention and comments as you Kevin here in CT when I attend the local cruise nights.
