Hey,

Have any of you received an email from Jeff at JCM Publishing LLC selling a Prowler Design Patent Portfolio?
More info posted at: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2123282989

Is this portfolio even worth the money?

I don't know if these patent drawing pages have any actual worth, but I do not think $20 is an unreasonable price. They would be nice for framing, as the seller recommends. One thing I noticed is that these drawings are dated 1995 and are of the concept vehicle. I may purchase a set myself as I would be interested in seeing how their legal description for the Prowler was submitted.

This is a rip off. Just go to the Patent and Trademark Office website http://patft.uspto.gov/netahtml/srchnum.htm and type in the Patent Numbers D353564 and D355397. Click on the result and then view "images" (in red at the top of the page).
Printing them requires a TIFF plug-in see: http://www.uspto.gov/patft/images.htm for help in getting free software to do this.
Get some nice paper, print it out and save your hard earned cash for gas money!

Call me the idiot, 'cause I ordered 3 of 'em just in case they're nice. I'll let you know if they're worth it once I get them.

If you ever park your car next to one of those you will find at least 8 differences. At least thats all I found.

1. Front grill
2. Hood
3. Side marker light location
4. Bumpers
5. Front fenders
6. Door handles
7. Step insert
8. Seats had silver head rest, higher

1.The headlights were also a flush with the body and did not stick out like the production models.
2. No hood badge.

I believe the hood is actually hinged in the front so that it opens forward from the window.
