I'm suprised how many people call my Mulholland "Purple". I always thought it was Blue! ------------------ |

This was my thought - according to the VIN 1C3EW65G91V702534 - it is a 2001 Chrysler. Maybe it is a Midnight blue because it does have a purple hue to it. ------------------ |

I'd agree as that's the deal i got a few months back. But others have said 38K is more of what to expect. That came from individuals that actually got that price. I also hear about a $5000 rebate for dealers with 2001's still. That all fits together i think. ------------------ |

quote: I just bought a new 2001 Mulholland for $35K (never titled and only delivery miles). While I obviously like the color, alot of dealers still have them and can't give them away anywhere near sticker. Perhaps there are so many still out there cause these were the dealers asking $50-60-70-80K for them thinking they'd get it (when they could have sold them left and right for sticker)and are now stuck with them and can't get anywhere near sticker cause they really are a 2 year old car now. A local dealer is asking $55K for one. I told him I'd pay that if I can call any Chrysler used car manager in town and they tell me it's worth $50K (used) to them. He immediately dropped the price to $39K realizing he was about to loose a sale (he did anyway) Another color to get a great deal on is the new gold color. |

I agree. The Inca Gold I purchased was a GREAT deal, with only 3 miles! I sense there are quite a few Mulhollands available and that those dealers hoping for sticker+ are now realizing they need to cut their losses and move on. Ultimately I could have gotten a tremendouse deal on a Mulholland, but knew I had to be really, really happy with my color choice, even if it meant a bit more $. I'm thrilled with my choice and understand that color preference is a personal choice (can you say "worlds longest thread"!). I just hoping now that prices go up as quickly as possible. I almost got a Blue one. The deal I had for a new one at 40k was very good in Feb. I found my 01' Silver for a better price and jumped on it, silver was my 1st choice. There is an outside chance we might pick up another Kat (for her)... if we do it will be Blue. ------------------ This message has been edited by C5 Frank on 07-23-2002 at 09:44 PM |
