Randy,
Could you please post how much it cost for your flames? If you prefer, please PM me. I'm sure others are curious what it costs to have flames, EXCELLENT flames added. P.S. I don't have a trailer, just curious what car costs.

Cost of flames vary depending on many things. Average cost is $1,500 to $3,000 if traditional type flames are painted on top or your original paint with pin striping to feather out the taped edges it is less expensive way to go . When you do the flames under clear and have to clear compleat panels so you can not feel the flames edges, the cost goes up or when you start using more expensive paint, such as color changing paint like House of Kolor Kameleons or ppg Harlequin, very pricey paint at $3,000 a gallon cost goes up even more. My car was completely repainted black. With Harlequin paint used on flames under the clear no pin striping to give it a clean ghost look. Hope this helps.

Randy is correct. I wanted custom painted flames but couldn't budget the big $$$ to paint under the clear. (Maybe someday) My flame guy will paint side flames plus some on the deck lid for $1250 to $1500 using House of Kolor pearl paint and trim in pin stiping. Trailers will cost an additional $300 to $500. All pricing depends on how detailed you wish for the design to be.

Randy's flames look awesome in pics - I would bet they look even better in person!!

Happy Prowling

Marty

Randy, your car was repainted black BEFORE the flames were added and then clear coated?

Ed, My car was completely disassembled and repainted due to a sand storm in Palm Springs ca the flames were painted between clear coats, the windshield side glass and head lights also replaced.

I was wondering why it got repainted. Sorry to hear about the sand storm. Your car & trailer look fabulous. I am just too conservative and am keeping mine totally stock, like CJ & Mike Gatlin.
