Enjoy the 4th, but please, be safe. I work in healthcare and see the results of people who mix driving with such things as drinking and not wearing seatbelts. It's not pretty. Kevin ------------------ |

Happy Independence Day!! "Freedom" what a concept. Many aren't ready for it, don't appreciate it, don't understand it or abuse it. I think this quote is appropriate "For those who fought for it, freedom has a flavor the protected can never know." Semper Fi, Howard |

If you see a soldier this holiday......say "thank you", shake their hand.......we do not honor these people enough and they need to know that we appreciate them. To my son.........you are very special and I am VERY proud of you! This message has been edited by CJ on 07-04-2002 at 07:23 AM |

Just thought I'd share a note from Fort Hood -- We had a 10K run on post this morning (about 500 runners), but the road guards mis-directed the leaders and we all ended-up running 15K. I celebrated / recovered by letting my 17 year-old son drive us to breakfast in the Prowler. This was a very special treat -- I haven't allowed him to drive the PT Cruiser yet! |
