Enjoy the 4th, but please, be safe. I work in healthcare and see the results of people who mix driving with such things as drinking and not wearing seatbelts. It's not pretty.

May all of you have a great Fourth Holiday with family and friends alike.

Remember to not overdrink and keep the speed down,,,,,,,you can start back up on the fifth

Know how many pilots it takes to fly a America West Airlines 737 jet?

One-fifth the amount of other airlines...............

Happy Independence Day!!

"Freedom" what a concept. Many aren't ready for it, don't appreciate it, don't understand it or abuse it.

I think this quote is appropriate "For those who fought for it, freedom has a flavor the protected can never know."

Semper Fi,

Howard

Everyone have a happy and safe holiday. As always, be thankful for the freedoms that we have. Keep all of our military personnel in your thoughts or prayers and thank them for devoting their lives to keeping us safe and for fighting to uphold the freedoms that we hold so dear! Remember all those who lost their lives in all of the battles in history so that our country and our freedoms endure!

If you see a soldier this holiday......say "thank you", shake their hand.......we do not honor these people enough and they need to know that we appreciate them.

To my son.........you are very special and I am VERY proud of you!

Just thought I'd share a note from Fort Hood -- We had a 10K run on post this morning (about 500 runners), but the road guards mis-directed the leaders and we all ended-up running 15K. I celebrated / recovered by letting my 17 year-old son drive us to breakfast in the Prowler. This was a very special treat -- I haven't allowed him to drive the PT Cruiser yet!
