Kelley - mine took six weeks. I have heard quotes of anywhere from 4 to eight weeks.

It will be worth the wait. If space is an issue, don't forget to look at Larry Lord's trailer stand. It is a nice piece to have to fit the KAT & trailer in one space in a standard garage.

Surly to goodness it won't take 22 weeks. I could carve one out of granite with a rubber hammer by that time.

Kelley, the problem is that Mopar had about 120 trailers left to sell when they announced the end of production of the Prowler. They were concerned about selling them and gave me permission to post on the board that there was this amount but after those were sold, production of the trailer would end also. Much to their surprise, the trailers quickly sold out and now they are trying to get them all built. Where they might have had 5 or 6 to build and were able to accomplish that in a timely manner, all of a sudden they had 120 to build. In addition, they found parts to build 43 more which also sold out and now they are trying to get them done.

It's just going to take some time, but as Marty said...... well worth the wait!

You can use the following number to check on your order. Have all order info ready and they will be able to answer your questions:

Prowler Trailers: 1-800-635-4637

Kelley - if you can't wait that long, put it up for sale in the classifieds. Others will wait for it if you can't.

Kelley:

Just checked with the dealer on the trailer, he said there was 3 ahead of mine in production. Also checked, I ordered mine on 5/24/02, 4th from the last.
Yours may be delivered a lot sooner!

Good to hear!!! I ordered mine on 5/23/02!!! I guess I might be one of those three!!! Depending when the order went through. I am guessing that it is too late for me to call so I will check tomorrow... What did they say was the ETA???

Kelly I know how you feel!!! I just got back from a three leisure trip & I would have loved to have had the trailer...

CJ - If it isn't asking too much. Could you try to find out... How many total trailers were made, and is there a color breakdown??? Just curious... Might be a cool bit of information...

Holy cow -- I think there were 6 left when I ordered mine -- might mean that it's already in production, only 2 months early.

I was quoted 18-19 weeks.

Kelley, that's great news!

How about I rent yours ??

When you called about yours, what info did you need to track your trailer?

Gary,
I had to call the dealership, gave them the name of the person I talked with at the manufacturer,Lisa Turner 1-800-635-4637 ext.7762 They gave her the necessary information, order numbers etc. Then they got back with me. Now I just hope they ordered Orange. They told the Dealership to inspect it upon arrival ,before unloading, for any damage. If it was unloaded beforehand they wouldn't take any resposibility for damage. So, Try to get the person you ordered yours from to let you know when it arrives so you can inspect it also, before they unload it. Might be a good idea. Could take another 12 to 14 weeks. If they could even get enough parts for repair.

15 weeks... damn... Received the same recommendation about checking for damage right after it is unloaded... This way the shipping company will cover the damage repairs & not the dealer... Got me a little weary... How many trailers arrived damaged??? Just wondering what the track record was...

Why was it so tough??? Does the crate have Mopar or any other writing on it identifying what it is???

I helped Andy uncrate his at the dealers and it only took about 5 minutes. We took each side off as a whole and did not take it off one board at a time. It is basically sitting on a pallet with a wooden frame around it and then shrink wrapped. I think it was stapled together and not nailed but I am not positive.
