A very special thank you to: Laddie Roussel for their outstanding work, planning, and sacrifices to make the "Prowlin the Colorado Rockies 2002" event the best ever
Dwayne and Carol in Estes Park, for opening up their beautiful home to all of us, and providing the area for us to enjoy our after dinner deserts and drinks To Dan Pena, for the countless hours of work on the event name badges and shirt logo AAA+ Don and Kelly Etheridge, for the making of the really special trunk logo clings and the event window decals To all the Colorado Prowler owners, who made the rest of us feel comfortable, welcomed, and relaxed in their beautiful state. I didn't hear of anybody getting completly 'lost' To Judy and Mike Krehel, for making this website available to us and bringing us all together in the Prowler family To Jack the Wonder Dog, for being man's best friend and using the Alley Cat Leg Humping System at the Golden car show To all of the rest of those owners attending this GREAT event,,,,,,,,,,it's your association,,,,,,,what it is, is what we do to make it even better ------------------ This message has been edited by ALLEY CAT on 06-12-2002 at 12:03 AM |

Dan - did I error? I heard that Don from Getresults Graphics did the badges. If I excluded your name from the above list, it wasn't intentional, and I sincerely apologies for the error. Please forgive me.

Geeeez AC.. Do I need to coach you again? It's MUCH easier to critisize people than it is to recognize people for positive behaviors (you should know that by NOW). If you MUST be positve...always CYA yourself at the end of posts and say "and to all the others who helped out..." (We all know what you intended). Hugs and EXTREMELY wet and long JACK Kisses..(sorry about Jack Marking your tire )

AlleyCat, Alex and his team came up with the concept of a picture with some Colorado mountains and centering a prowler somewhere in the middle of this layout. Alex had mentioned having Kinkos do the badges but I told him I could do them. He agreed and trusted me with this task. Kinkos would not have been able to customize these badges as I was able too. I took his concept and tweeked it a little and came up with an image. Alex and team agreed with the image I came up with and then I purchased the stuff which Marc S. paid for. I went ahead and took the names that Alex requested from all of you attendees and began custom printing the various prowler colors and names. I then proceeded to print the sheets, cut and laminate them individually. I actually ended up doing this about three times since we had some typos here and there. The badge you now hold in your hands is the result of all this work. I was then asked by CJ to come up with a larger image for the shirts she was working on. She had me talk with her contact to provide the image type they were requesting. We went back and forth a few times and you now have your shirt plus the static image on the back of that yellow prowler. So as you can see, I played a good part in this COOL prowler event I could not make.... THAT PART I HATE THE MOST!!!! DavidN did an excellent job on the picture taking. He is my hero. Thank you DavidN for those great shots!!! AleyCat, no offense taken. You did not know what was going on in the background. I did many custom badges for the ones I had pictures of in my prowler vault. Mike Krehel has Prowlers in the physical sense and I have many prowlers in the digital sense.

Dan You forgot to mention that your design was also used on the decals and custom static cling signs that were on a few of the people that helped. I've got to say that Dan put in many, many, many hours doing the design and badges and only would take payment for expenses. Thank your wife and children for me Dan, as I know they didn't see you for a couple of weekends that you were working on our badges. ------------------ |

AC.......Dwayne and Carol said you are welcome. They provided their beautiful home for the site of the Dessert Party, but I ordered the pies and ice cream. The lunch in Grand Lake and the Pie and Ice Cream party was paid for by your event fee. Dan did the design and the name badges. The design was also used for the shirt logo, I just changed the colors used for the shirts....including Jack the Wonder Dog's shirt!!! Thanks Dan....everything looked great!

Yes, much thanks to all. I started out with a little over 3k miles now my baby has been rained on, dusted with ash, and 2900 more miles. It was awesome. Now time to make room for one to look at and one to drive to the next prowler gig! Great job was done by all, a real headache I am sure but done well. With of course a little help from god who created some really cool mountains and awesome roads! What is on tap for next year, I should have her clean by then! ------------------ |
