I ordered one from Dallas three weeks ago - on the 24th to be exact.

I have a friend who called me today who says he can get me a "brand new" one (orange) with the hitch and the harness for $4700. And they will trailer it to my home in an enclosed trailer...... and oh yeah, I can get it this week.

I paid $4325 for the one I ordered..... I ordered it orange and it is being shipped to Dayton Ohio when it is built. Estimate at that time was 26 weeks.

I am checking on the one I ordered to see if I can change the color, have it shipped somewhere else etc. Should know more soon.

My friend informs me that there are no more to be built and that the folks who build it have a list of about 50 people who want one - that they have shut down production because there are no more parts..... he is checking to see if my name is one of the one's who actually have one that will be built, or one of the ones who the company has on their list that they will use to convince Chrysler to build more.....

Sorry this is so cryptic - not sure what to do. I will more than likely buy the one and have it shipped here this week which will mean I could possibly have another. I'll post more as I find it out.....

I'll let you know - It is looking like I may be able to. I actually ordered the trailer from Bankston in Dallas - used to live there and the General manager was my neighbor..... I'll keep you up to speed.

I have a line on one that was delivered to a dealership in TN and then the buyer could not come up with the funds. I will have it sent to Ohio, inspect it and if it is perfect, I will try and let someone else in POA take my order..... At this time my order is for an Orange one to be shipped to Dayton, OH. I am trying to find out if I can change the order and how I would get my $4325 back - or better yet, if Steve wants it, he can pay me the $4325, and I'll change the delivery to Texas -thus he will avoid Sales Tax by having me purchase it ..... I think. Will know more soon. Or, if there is no way of changing my order and I HAVE to take the one I ordered, then I have another with the trailer hitch and the wiring harness that would go for $4700. That is what I agreed to pay the dealer in Cincinnati. Man this stuff is complicated....
