The coach has alot more to do with the game than you are letting on. Many many many decisions throughout every game. The coach is VERY important and Scotty Bowman is not easily replaced by someone who is as hockey smart as him. Detroits got the cup...agreed. Enjoy it. Yzerman has already stated he will be back and Hasek is now reconsidering playing one more year. We have a lot of great players, young and older. What great coach would not want to be a part of the Red Wing organization? You forget one other thing......the Red Wings have had roots here for a very long time. I used to watch them with my parents every Saturday night when I was a little girl. This is HockeyTown!! The Avs were inheirited! Next year, Alex, next year...........
