I am nearing completion of negotiations with my Chief Financial Officer (ok, my wife says I can buy a Kat) and I'm amazed at the number of dealers who keep their Prowlers outside 24/7. In the last week I have contacted at least 4 dealers in the upper midwest who don't bring their kitties in at night (at least they have the good sense to close the top). And one dealer has a Kat with lots and lots of scratches around the deck, thanks to carelessness with the top(Calling Deck Pro Tec). I'm tempted not even to consider these vehicles. Advice? On the other hand, I wish everyone a safe and fun time in Colorado. I hope Jo Ann and I will be joining you on one of these jaunts in the near future. Kevin ------------------ |

Most surface scratches will come out with some work. Seems the dealership's lot detail people don't really care about who gets the car,,,,,,,,,,ask for a professional detail before accepting/buying your cat. JMO ------------------ |

If you are deciding to buy a Prowler from a specific dealer outside your area ask someone from Prowler Online to go down to the dealer and visually inspect the car. That way you will have peace of mind. ------------------ |

jkburns, my dealer always keeps his Prowlers and Vipers inside. As for the factory finish, I feel they leave something to be desired for perfectionist types (a trait I am trying hard to shed). For my Black Tie, I asked that the finish be buffed, and then took it from there using the Zaino system. That old saying still rings true...no one will do as good a job on your stuff as you. If you are interested, contact Roanoke Motors (IL.) Hotrod... ------------------ |
