Saw in my local newspaper (Raleigh) on Thursday an article stating that Chrysler rolled the last Prowler off the assembly line and auctioned it for $175,000.00 Think we can sell ours for that much now??? Wishful thinking... lol |

MichaelSwan, Welcome to the board..... You will have a blast and and you'll meet some great people. There were all kinds of neat posts with regards to this car on the board. This incredible site is actually owned and operated by the gentleman who purchased the last car. Look over the site and you'll see much great info. Be very careful of a few of the guys on this board.....Ed, Fixxum and MeanGene come to mind. I met them in Louisville and they might make fun of people like us who may not have heard about things like this car being sold. LOL John |

quote: Actually, the gentleman bought the last TWO cars. The very last Deep Candy Red was also purchased by MK. Welcome to the POA! Did any of you boys & girls notice that the last Viper Coupe was sold at an auction like the Prowler, but it only sold for $120-125K. The last Kitty went for $175K. Its nice to know that a Prowler is worth more to its owner / fan base than a Viper is! ------------------ |

Not only did Mike get the last two kats off the line, they have consecutive VINs too! Very special indeed! I don't think anyone has addressed your value question (think we can sell ours for that) because there aren't too many people here interested in selling them. They are too fun to own and DRIVE ------------------ This message has been edited by CWatsonJr on 05-25-2002 at 10:53 AM |

Michael...welcome to the board!! Actually, the last Prowler, the Chrysler Hi-Voltage Blue that was just recently auctioned off rolled off the production line on February 15, 2002. Mike K. (the new owner), his wife Judy and I were there for the occasion!! It was cool, but it was sad. ------------------ Classic/Beautiful - I'm referring to the Cat of course! |

You should also realize that mike has the last plymouth as well. All of the last what a prowler owner, he also owns one of the coolest sites on the net. Congrats Mike and all prowler owners for owning a a piece of history. I really don't think that anyone will build something like this car EVER!!! DC definately went out on a limb with this one and won. ------------------ |
