I've been working hard on the Colorado event coming up very shortly. I will have an itinerary for Friday's events (for which I am responsible) by the end of the holiday weekend. I think you are going to have a blast and you will be seeing some very beautiful country. Have some great plans in store. Carol and I had a discussion about Dream Cruise for this year today. She and the Make A Difference Foundation are hard at work on Saturday's activities. Traditionally, I have been responsible for planning some extra-curricular activities for the Prowler Owners who make the trip to Detroit for the Dream Cruise. I would be happy to do this again this year if there is enough interest. Obviously, there will be no plant tour this year, but we can make a trip there to shop at the store. What I would like to know is: 1. How many people plan on coming to Detroit early for Dream Cruise? How early do you plan to be here? 2. Would you like me to plan any activities for the early days? 3. Yes, there will be a Black Tee event again this year and I will update you on that later. That will, again, be on Friday night. When I return from Colorado I will need to start working on any additional activities if that is what is desired. Don't forget that we will be cruisin' Woodward every night that week!! There are lots of things around the Detroit Metro area to do and I have some things in mind if there is enough interest. Think about it and please post your thoughts here! Thanks! |

CJ, I have family that I visit and attend Woodward with every year. So I'll be there but not sure if I'll be able to do the early get togethers. Please tell me Prowler Alley will still be a go! I want to drool over the Alley this year knowing that MY CAR is one of the clan! Mike ------------------ |

CJ - I'm game for Dream Cruise, Hotel, Black-Tee & everything else that you and Carol can arrange. I would expect to arrive Thursday evening, or Friday morning at the latest. If you can please keep us posted on what & where to sign up. I have not seen any posts about hotels or fees for Prowler parking. Just let me know the $$$ and to whom to send it. Thanks for your help! ------------------ |

No, not the picture I was thinking about. One with Ed having a Afro hairdo,,,,,,,,,,,,done originally by GaryC, Andy, or Dan Pena long time ago. When it was first posted, I sprayed coffee over the entire keyboard, monitor, desk, and had it going up my nose. Fix - your right, Sandy is the Brady Bunch's mother,,,,,,,fine looking gal! |

CJ - Geoff and I are tentatively planning on doing a repeat of last summer. Leave Ft Worth on Thursday or Friday drive up and get to Detroit on Wednesday or so. They have a lunch at Henry Fords home -- Fairlane that might be a fun activity. Any chance that we could get a trip thru the tech center? The film at the Museum makes this look really great but I suppose DC not to interested in showing us what we would want to see in the tech center. ------------------ |

Patty and I are making plans very soon. I have sent my money to Make A Wish, and already have my Woodward welcome pack from the web site. We will be early as I am driving in from Hot August Nights in Reno the Weekend before, but not sure exactly what day we will arrive as yet. Really looking forward to it. Car wont be painted, as it is not even in production yet. But the Bullet will be there,, along with the original. ------------------ This message has been edited by jd2ksilver on 06-01-2002 at 01:42 AM |

quote: John, you're not entering the Kat in HAN, are you? If so, how? I was interested in doing the same, but could have sworn I saw a "mfg prior to 1972" (or something like that) requirement. There ought to be at least three kats in Reno then -- we should set up a mini-event. |

Add three more,, No we cannot be judged, or participate in the few organized cruises. We are entered in the 1/8 mile drags on the last Sat. Plus, the whole town is crusin that week so no need to be organized. Two years ago we had the same three Kats, (mine, Benjamin in a yellow, and Dan Peņa in his black. And we got ovations from tons of people. We were even allowed to show our cars at one resort. All very cool. ------------------ |
