It may not be an indicator of much. I'd suspect that most dealers aren't into the "collector" angle and now that the car is EOL'd, the dealers want to move it out to make room for whatever is next.

As attractive as the car is, I don't necessarily think it's wise business sense to keep something on the valuable showroom floor that can't generate sales. Of course, there's the argument that it brings people in, but a Viper can do that (and possibly get sold, too).

bbrighton, yes, your logic seems OK. Only one flaw, though. The Prowler as a Chrysler and a Viper as a Dodge in 9 out of 10 showrooms won't ever be on the floor together, nor could they be unless the franchise included both marques.

True; of course, the one dealership that comes to mind had just that - both franchises so there were prowlers and vipers taking up the whole showroom.

Anyway, I suppose it's the PT or the Crossfire now.
