Never have I see so many "old" coots have such luck. I have spent the entire day and night since that event trying to recall what the big deal was in 1963 - exactly 39 years ago. I thought about the blackout, and brownouts, during that year and haven't come up with anything that would account for most of you being born that year. I guess next year we should all get together for a "birthday" event.

I suspect that CJ had something to do with this - having all the POA woman united, but I'm not sure - the hugging thing. I really appreciated all the hello and goodbye hugs, but...I wasn't sure if it was to measure the coffin or to lift what little money I had left. I don't have any money left, so I'm almost sure that it was the latter.

Now for all the Ladies in the "East Coast Posse" - I'll try and get better "radio chat" material for the next time - I'm truly an optimist - always like to hope for the "next" time - wink, wink!

Carol Silsby (RebelBob’s wife), Brenda(Dave Mill’s boss), and Lucy (Niteman’s wife) – You’re the best travelin’ companions a guy could have – it’s just sad to know it’s with the wrong guy.

Sharon Koonce (fixumm’s wife) - Thanks for not looking at my navel! I now know how you ladies feel when guys stares at a certain part of your anatomy. You were the only one who attempted to look into my bloodshot eyes. For the rest of you vertically challenged woman, shame on you!

Kim Venezia (katatak’s wife)- Thanks you for traveling back with Darcy and me. I hope “my surprise” for you and Mike worked out. My uncle in Parkersburg mentioned he would “keep the light on”.

Rebecca Usher (Marty’s husband) – Thanks for all the insight to Marty’s and your activities during this event. I won’t repeat any of it – send the money in a brown envelope.

Kelly Archer – I always nice to “see” the power in front of the throne – the next time have Gary close the door to the two-holer. Trust me, only a few of us contry folk will understand this one!

Sandy Monahan, you were radiant as always – was it Ed’s “new” top or his. …that bought out that knowing smile?

I’m havin’ a “senior” moment and probably will commit a POA error, by not mentioning every one by name – Please forgive me…your Venus images are burned in to my brain, but a mind is a terrible thing to waste on …

p.s. One final note…I would like to start a “Ask MeanGene” column for all your questions you might have, I promise to replay (er…to reply) to anything that is on your mind. Just trying to help!

p.MeanGene.s I know some of you guys will be jealous and need to ask questions, use an alias to avoid gender difficulities – A.K.A. - or an AK-47 if you perfer.

As tempting an offer as that was...I have trouble affording the slight alterations on my car. I've seen the way you look at Carol (when she's in the car), you seem to always have a ready smile.
