I think this week's poll is the most interesting question ever asked on the poll. I really do not know what I want to answer to the poll question. I think the 97's could be the most collectible since they were the first and the fewest made in any one model.
But then I think the Woodwards or Black Ties could be the most collectible.
Maybe it is the last Plymouth models but then you have to think the Candy Red is the rarest basic color.
WHY are you voting for the year that you voted for?
I usually do not have to think about my answer to the poll questions and I am usually not wishy washy or lacking an opinion. I still haven't voted on this one.

I voted for the Candy Red because:

1. It is the last run of Prowlers.
2. It is the lowest number color run of a new color.

I voted for the '97 because there are not that many of them and they were first.

I personally think the Woodwards will end up being the most valuable due to the limited number and the first two-tone paint. Also looks a lot different than a single color. The Black Ties, the 97 Purples and 02 Candy Reds would all follow close behind.

Just a guess, no one knows for sure.

I think the '97s. When you look at collectible cars, it is usually the first model year (or pre-model year in the case of the mustang) that are most collectible. JMO

I think the 97 & 99's will be as they are the Plymouth Prowlers and the last of an entire car line as well..
Prowlers were the last Plymouths made.

I agree with Cliff and Fred for both their reason's given. But collectability is ultimately in the eye of the buyer!

Fred,

I have a 00 and it's a Plymouth too. That's why I wanted it. The last of the plymouths.

I think ours will be the most collectible. Here's why. We have a 99 purple. Purple was the original color. The 99 has more horsepower than the 97. The purple Prowler was the only one to star in a TV show.(Nightman) Our 99 purple is the only one with a NITEMAN license plate. And the most important reason it will be valuable is, Ed Monahan has commented on at least two of his posts how well our's shines!

P.S. My initials are B.S. (I'm good at it, huh?)

I too do not know how to vote, I was going to vote for the 97, but then I got to thinking (at least to me) they are less desirable because of the major running changes that were made between 97 and 99. I was going to vote for the last year of the Plymouth and then yet thinking maybe the last year for the Chrysler because there are fewer. The only thing I know for certain is Mike K has the last Plymouth, the last Chrysler and they have to be two of the most valuable. And of course there is the last Blue yet to be auctioned.

Rich, you are starting to scare me with your line of thinking. It is too close to the way I was thinking. I still have not voted.
