Call to all Kat owners that live in Ontario (Canada). I was wondering if anyone has come across a dealer that they have dealt with that is experienced in servicing their Prowlers. I need a new top and have been referred by local dealers to auto trim and glass shops. I would prefer to get work done at a Chrysler dealership for warranty purposes etc. but am having a hard time finding one in my area that has any experience doing this type of work. Any feedback for dealers in the immediate Toronto area preferably on the east side of the city would be appreciated. |

Grant, I don't think any one dealer has dominated on the sales or service side of the Prowlers. I would pick the most honest, reputable dealer you know and I cannot imagine that this would be difficult, but you want them to treat the car like gold. I know a dealer northwest of the city but that may not be convenient. Email me if you want the name. ------------------ |

Dealers do not do soft trim work. They would farm it out to a trim shop, unless they replace the whole assembly. I checked at the shop that is going to install the top on my Dart Convertible and they list tops for the prowler. If this is not warranty work I would check out the best trim shop in the area. For the Prowler any good trim shop should be able to install and make look just like factory. And if you want different color they should be able to do that too. This is a common style top, very similar to corvette convertible top. IT IS JUST A CAR and most dealer mechanics do not have the skills/knowledge to do soft trim work my 2 cents [/B][/QUOTE] ------------------ |

Had a new top put on the cat a couple of months back, the dealer order a factory part and then sublet the install to an outside vender. they did a nice job. Happy Prowlin ------------------ |
