As I mentioned after the Farewell Party, I spoke with a contact at DC/Mopar at length about the Prowler accessories. I received an email and they are having a meeting at the end of the week to review the list of potential Prowler accessories that should be re-ordered. This was based in part, on the run of accessories after the announcement of the end of production. The accessory re-orders will be based on several factors such as minimum buy quantities, past history sales, and of course the voice of the customer. They would like us to provide a list of the items we feel are essential for every Prowler owner to have. They will currently look at the accessories listed below. Here is a chance for us to give them a list of any additional accessories we would like them to take a look at: Vehicle Covers Here are some other possibilities I think we should list as "must haves"!! Prowler trailers Please post on this thread and I will forward it to the appropriate contact. Thanks for your help!! You will have until Thursday morning to post. I concur with your lists CJ. I vote to reorder them all! We're all going to need floor mats as times goes by, and many of us still don't have a hitch or trailer but would like one later (can't afford it right after buying the cat). Thanks CJ! Mike ------------------ |

All of the above. Not an unreasonable request. Question on the trailers~~ Are they painted upon order? Maybe they should keep a stock of 30 or so on hand at all times till the demand deminishes. Does DC get a better deal to order more then that at a time? ------------------ |

Floormats, car covers and splash guards are my main concern...started stocking up a few extras a while back just in case...also what about the future of wheels ??? I am currently getting a set replaced for extreme flaking, will these be available as time goes by....stone guards on the rear fenders, they also take a beating...will they be there when needed....wheel centers, another easy break item....high mile Kats could possibly be worth more as parts cars than as drivers in the not too distant future...remember HEMI exhaust manifolds, "SHAKER" hoods, etc etc....a good Prowler could be worth many more $$$ just in parts ............. ------------------ |

TIIB raises another good one .. the rear fender guards ... would be noce to replace after they take a certain amount of abuse from stones. And, of course the wheel centers. Guess these aren't accessories so much as they are service parts ... but chirp in their ear on these things too our little "birdie"! |

CJ, very timely post. I went to a dealer that showed 2 sets of mud flaps in stock. I drove to Lebanon, OH to pick them up. They were special orders for their customers and so even though they had them in stock, they were not available to me. The parts guys were very curteous and helpful but I drove 45 miles one way and was shut out. He ran a computer search and it shows a lot of front flaps in dealer inventory, but none in the warehouse and no plan to remake any more. One of the guys brought up a good point. What if the dealer installs a set and there is later a problem. Where do they get a replacement? They were unaware about the problem with pulling down the fender in a pot hole. What if a dealer has an unsold Prowler and the new owner wants flaps before he drives it off the showroom floor? What if I split one down the road? Also, the center caps are going to be a nightmare from now on. Most owners have never removed their wheels yet. Wait until all the tires start to get worn out. HELP D C. Great car but we need some back up help here. Thanks. ------------------ |

I just purchased a set of mud flaps off ebay for $102.5. I have two sets now and I found another set of floor mats. Would like to have a car cover but my high bid on ebay was $275. $405 bought it. How about that little organizer that is no longer available that attaches between the seats ? I met Paul in Dallas and his looked like a great accessory. Wish I had one. Ditto on all the other suggestions. John |
