1. Have Yellow, would buy Mulholland.
2. I don't have a clue what the most popular color is, but I think it should be purple......it was first.

I have yellow ... might buy WW also ... classic color combination. Most popular? Purple was the "original", but I love my yellow!

yeah, yeah, yeah .... post anything you want, just know that BLACK has sold the most. That makes it the most popular. In fact the red and silver lovers added Black to make their color more desirable!!

fixumm.....I know.....you figured you weren't going to win my contest post (since you don't qualify anyway, lol) so you started another one........do you ever get any work done? lol!

I think it is safe to say, based on media people I've spoken to in the past that the most recognizable color is the purple. Bob Tate at the Museum told me recently that visitors to the gift shop that are buying Prowler items, automatically assume they are going to be purple. I would bet that most people aren't even aware of how many colors they actually have built. Reason of course, is that it is the original color.

Now......

I have a Black and a Candy Red......

I'm not really sure what color I would want other than those two. I do know that it would be a Spectra-Flair paint color! They are totally awesome!

Until I see the Candy Red in the sun for me it is very close between the Orange and the Woodward. Just for the record and IMO, most Prowler colors look better in the Sun than in the dark. The one true exception is Black.

1. Gold - (color of Cat #2 to go with my Silver)
2. Candy Apple Red - (most popular color)

I found these interesting polls from last year... hmmm you notice the same thing I do... We picked Candy Apple Red!!! I wonder if DC saw this poll!?!?

And interesting... purple fell second to yellow last year!

VirginiaCatDude.......

Some time ago, I put up a post asking everyone if they could choose a color for the Prowler, what would they want? Candy Apple Red was the first choice, among many. I printed the post off and Bob took it to the design meetings he attends. He gave it to them and told them that these were the types of colors the consumer wanted. Now they may have been already considering the Candy Red but I'd say it is safe to say that the post was influential!

Were not trying to be contrary here, but if we were to buy another Prowler..We would shake some sense into the DC excecutive who came up with the predictable lame "Electric Blue" (yuck) last Prowler, make it Salmon Pink and BUY that one!

I don't know about most popular color out there, but the coolest color ever made out there is the Candy Red (by far).

XOXO

I think DC got it right with the electric blue. Had they produced that in quantity and had I known it was coming, I might have held off buying my 01 orange.

If I were to buy another Prowler I would buy a black one.....not because I like black...don't think I want another black car EVER...but it would have the black tub and then I could paint it whatever color I wanted and not have to repaint the Firewall and other hidden parts that would look OK black

House of Color has SO MANY cool......no make that.... HOT colors that just scream PROWLER on them

but after this last Friday a stock car might be the best...I'm so uncomfortable at the cruise in's and leaving in parking lot alone when we go out to eat...I was sitting behind the car to have a little kid grab the top of the door and stand on the rocker trying to see in. Could have killed the adult he was with..they get mad because you say something to them....in that case they should keep themselves at home and not let the kids have the chance to climb on the car

Thats the delema I have Larry the red firewall and a few other places that make changing colour so hard and expensive. I love that H of C candy tangerine was at the shop again yesterday looking at my buddys Harley in that colour ...wow does chrome ever look good with it.

Candy red would be my next colour luv the Electric Blue more though..
