I'd like to add undercoating under the rear wheelwells to prevent "star" cracks in the paint....But I refuse to tar it up with black undercoating. Is there a silver color undercoating available? Or must I use one that is paintable?

I used bedliner material, mixed it with silver paint taped under the fenders off and brushed it in.... Cant tell its there and it will protect the underside.... Duplicolor makes a brushable bed liner product

Good Luck

I called a place that does the Rhino liners and they say that they have done this before...... They also have a new product called Diamond Gloss that protects your paint ? Anyone heard of this ? I'll scope it out today and give ya'll (left over from my Texas days) some feedback this evening. Purchase some Protect-all this weekend. Will try it Thursday evening.

You can also use a rock guard and paint any color over it. We use it when we do car repairs and they have rock guard on the lower panels.Works great.
