All I got from DC today was an evaluation form for the dealer I got my Jeep from. I got my Cat used so I probably wont get one. Think you got yours first because you're "connected" CJ?

Heck no, Al!! Past history shows that being "connected" just makes things worse. Example: Bob did the allocation for the Prowler program. You'd think I'd have had an in to be one of the first to get one (not that I wanted one of the first)...NOT! I had to wait three years to get mine and then we ended up buying it through a dealer in Indy! As it turned out, waiting ended up being a good thing (even though I'd almost given up) because I ended up with the black instead of the purple and we all know that Black is the coolest color!!!

Again, the mailing went out on Friday. I just happen to live nearer the post office they used!!

No, I didn't receive my letter either. BUT, if your looking for the contact information for going to the auction, or even getting a "catalog" from the actual auction - the info that I posted last week is GOOD. I even waited until today to call them back, and received all the info (catalog w/ invite) that I was requesting.

I'm sorry, but this "I have info that you don't have" routine has unfortunately gotten under my skin for the 1st time. Anyone on this web can post info, but if it doesn't come from the "appropriate" source - it doesn't count for much. Again - I am sorry for venting steam. My appologies to CJ, and everyone else that reads this. It is only a vent - thats all.

SPCL-T.......I never meant this post to sound that way. It was just an attempt to let people know that DC did, indeed, send the mailing out on Friday as they told me. After reading your information (which you are free to post) everyone was concerned about not getting their letter when at that time, they hadn't even started mailing yet. Obviously, since they got mailed in Michigan, it stands to reason that Michigan owners would get theirs first. Of course, it has happened that Ed in OH has received mail before I've gotten mine, so go figure! Didn't mean to offend anyone.

Everyone's letters should starting hitting in the next few days......depending on the Post Office, of course.

No one ever said you didn't post accurate information... at least I didn't say that. Nor did I ever say you couldn't post your preliminary information. Fact is, the DC people had an agreement with Christie's that Christie's was not to release any information on the auction until DC was ready. When I called them and told them I saw the info on Christie's site, they were pretty upset that Christie's had "jumped the gun" before DC had given them the go-ahead. However, that's between DC and Christie's. However, it did cause a reaction of people trying to contact DC as to what was going on and they were still getting the mailing ready.

As I've said before, anyone on this board can do whatever they want. However, my situation dictates different rules. I'm given prior info, but am kept under obligation until I am given the official go-ahead. That pertains to me only because I am considered an employee.

They were supposed to call me today and give me the official go-ahead to publish the letter on the website. However, that hasn't happened!!

Oh, the corporate world, don't we love it!

I know that we've had this discussion many times before and many of you don't understand the corporate confidentiality policies that Bob and I have to live by. This is from the Chrysler's Code of Ethical Behavior:

"Confidential/Inside Information is any non-public information relating to Chrysler, its products, plants, plans, or personnel, and includes any such information which, if disclosed in an untimely or unauthorized fashion, would be detrimental to the best interests of Chrysler Corporation. Such information is to be held in the strictest confidence and should not be shared with the media, financial analysts, competitiors or public, nor should it be used in any way that would give anyone an unfair business or personal advantage. Should there be any doubt as to whether information has been publicly released, contact the Corporate Public Relations Office.

So there you have it!! The rules we (Chrysler employees) have to live by. I have never revealed anything to this board prior to permission by DC, nor will I. I am not about to cost my husband nor any other of my DC contacts their job! So, please, have a little understanding for my situation. Throughout the years, I've always tried to give timely and accurate information only when allowed.

Again, my apologies if you took offense.

Received my letter today. Went immediately into my Prowler book. No point in actually attending unless I win the lottery between now and then. Then it would be mine because no one would out bid me.
