Have "searched" and searched... and too old, but we all have heard that excuse (and perhaps used it a few times, but KNOW ( I think ) that I have read on here about someone (Sassy maybe?) going to a 'craft' store and purchasing a paint that they used to color the lettering (3.5L etc) in the engine compartment? Help, link, pls? Thanks

This weekend I will post a super easy way to paint your lettering on the engine. SUPER fast and clean. I will list what you need - gotten anywhere. I will do picture by picture shots with supplies that will cost no more that 3.00 for all.

Watch for it this weekend.

We had a bottle of Testors yellow paint laying around and painted the lettering. Took about 4 coats of paint and maybe an hours time. Make sure surface is clean.

The SHIMMERS Engine Dress-up kit @ $135 maybe too pricey, but it is very different and the individual letters and stripes are actual self adhesive SHIMMERS emblems. Also, many of the colors are "reflective" plus Chrome and Brushed Aluminum are available. This Engine Dress-up kit is available in ALL SHIMMERS COLORS!!!

Additionally, some of the SHIMMERS colors would be impossible to "paint-on" such a Cotton Candy, one of the most popular colors. SHIMMERS are an option to "paint-on" if the paint does not give you the desired results.

Want a sample? Just give me a call @ 800 669 3540.

THANKS, Jay
