Close to a year ago shortly after a had got the Kat I was at Home Depot...I know another Home Depot story. Well the Kat is out in the parking lot towards the back all by her herself. When I come out and start heading towards the Kat I notice a guy checking the car out. Well we get to talking and he tells me he builds 30's hot rods and really likes what DC did with the Prowler. It turns out the two of us live pretty close so he invites me over to see his gargare and projects. He had one sedan like rod that was complete and sweet! He showed me a 32 Ford high boy that was in pieces and then I knew why the Prowler had caught his eye. We exchanged business cards and I went on my way. That was a year ago and have not seen him since. Last night there was a knock at the door and when I opened the door there stood a familiar face but someone I really did not know or remember. He explains that we meet in the parking lot a year ago around my Prowler. It all comes back to me. He says "Remember my 32 project"? Yes I certainly did! He says "Ever since I saw your Orange Prowler I knew I had to paint my 32 that color. Would you mind if I looked at it again"? We went in the garage and he was nothing but grins! "Yep, this is the color for my 32"! An hour went by of car talk and Scott left asking me if I could bring the Prowler over in the sun to show his wife. You know this proud PaPa will take his baby over to show her off!!!! Anyway I was quite flattered and very proud that a true "old" rod builder would be enamored by the Prowler and her beautiful Orange coat. It was a very nice meeting and I will soon take the Kat over to his house in the sun so the orange coat can shine!!!

Just thought you guys might like to hear the story.

Well.....I guess Scott could not wait....another knock at the door today. It was Scott and his wife wanting to see the Prowler in the sun. I backed it out of the garage...the sun hit and that was all she wrote!!! Scott and his wife agreed that it was that best color they had seen as of yet for their 32 High Boy. He is sending the rod to the paint shop this week with orders for: Prowler Orange Pearl Coat! I love my Kat!!!! Way to go girl!!

I will most definetly shoot pics when his car is finished. Its being painted this week and then it goes over to the Upolsters for the leather interior, and yes it is going to be Prowler Agate leather color. Should make for some nice pics with the two side by side!
