Starsky and Hutch had the Gran Torino. The Dukes of Hazzard had the Charger. Magnum PI had the Ferrari. Micheal Knight had the Firebird. Who should have the Prowler? And what should the theme of the show be? Should the Prowler be bullet-proof? Should it be the fastest car alive? Should it be a cruiser? Should it be driven by a super-hero? a policeman? a detective? a special agent? hmmm.... ------------------ |

It should be driven by..... The 115 year old secret agent! Who better to portray a swash buckling do gooder and consummate ladies man than me? For the better part of a century I have been fulfilling the part in a very real sense. I have it all, experience, charm, good looks, athletic body, steel trap mind, sexy appearance and subtle personality. At 115 I am not afraid to try anything and I have very little to lose. As far as the car goes, just leave it like it is, alluring, limited production and understated performance. Gotta run as it is Easter Sunday and the Easter Bunny brought me some goodies and I want to eat them before they melt. Dew Drop gets upset if I let them melt and then get finger prints all over everything. She thinks I’m getting messy in my old age. Scot ------------------ |

It should be the 11,000+ Prowler owners ourselves as the Stars and make Limited copies of documentary from West to East coast. I think they should let the Prowler stays with its mysteries and not a commercial like other cars. Has any one has seen a Prowler commercial at all? ------------------ |

Back in '96-'97, some of DC's commercials ended w/ a very brief flash of a Purple Prowler. It was for only a second or two. The commercials were for Chrysler in general, not the Prowler. Before the Prowler was released to the public, back in '95 or '96, there was a TV series that had the Prowler. I think it was called Night-Rider, or something like that. I don't remember if it was a national show or not. Naturally the "do-gooder" in the show, the hero, drove the Prowler. I don't think that the series last more than 1 or 2 seasons. ------------------ |

Too late! There already is a Prowler-based TV show. It is called Nightman. I don't know if it is still being produced, but some stations still are showing it with other syndicated shows. I never watched it much, not enough Prowler, too much stupid storyline. The main man is a jazz sax player who turns into a crime fighting superhero, Nightman. He drives the Prowler. Also, one of the characters on Pam Anderson's show, VIP, drives a silver Prowler. She drives a red Viper RT/10. ------------------ |

Yes, the Prowler used on Pam Anderson's show was mine. I leased it to her production company for six months, and it came back in perfect shape. I may change my name to TVCAT? |

The Cat is already used in the TV show. The few times I have watched VIP I have seen Pamela Anderson driving a silver one ocassionally. They don't show the car much focus on her driving. ------------------ |

I was in Wall Mart over the weekend and saw a Prowler video game. It was a road course thru city streets and you could choose which car you wanted to drive at the beginning. @ of your choices were a Green or Red Prowler. Looked pretty cool. I was ready to walk up and play it just for fun when this little kid pushed me aside and put in his money. A cute little blonde woman was driving the car in the video. The darn kid would not stop playing this game. He picked the convertible Hemi Cuda instead of the Prowler. Not a bad choice either. He didn't like me telling him to choose the Prowler. Then my wife cam by and had to show me what she wanted to buy. That's a whole different story. Boy I hate shopping at those stores! ------------------ |

How about making a new prowler show. Hmm... how about a show chronicling the life of a young software engineer who just so happens to live in New England. After busting his hump for the man, day in and day out, he drives home battling the harsh elements of winter: the snow, the sleet, the road salt, only to stop for a few minutes along the way and look longingly at his beloved prowler. The season finale, at the end of the season he gets to open up his storage unit and take his prowler out and cruise the coast. On second thought...how about a show with women with large breasts driving around in nice cars. We could call it street-watch. ------------------ This message has been edited by ProwlerOrange2001 on 04-01-2002 at 12:58 PM |
