I am posting this for Gordon Karns aka Supekat. Gordon is out of town and cannot post for a few days. There was a recent post about Garmet Bags no longer being available. Gordon had special ordered one at his dealer Walker Harris in Covington GA. Apparently after the post they were flooded with calls trying to get this item. When they explained it was special ordered, several callers got real nasty with them because they would not sell it. Gordon had not picked it up because he was waiting for his trailer to come in along with other things he ordered, and pick it all up at once. This is a very small town dealer and very nice folks. In fact the owner has a Yellow Prowler. There is really no reason for anyone to have become rude or obnoxious with them because they refused to sell the item because it was being held as a special order for another customer not to mention a POA member. Come on folks this is not our style. How would you feel if you ordered something and then the dealer turned around and sold it to someone else. They mentioned where some of the rude calls came from, but I will not post that information. This is embarrising both for Gordon and the POA.

Rich, I don't see why it should be embarrassing for Gordon or POA, it's an embarrassment for the callers.

Al, Gordon felt embarissed because when he called to check on the status of his order they told him what had happened. They knew he was a member of a Prowler club and if he might know what created all the calls to them. Being the nice guy he is, Gordon apologized and explained that the calls were generated because of the post on this site.

I just hope we haven't lost Gordon over this ordeal.

Whoever might have been involved should send SuperKat an email to apologize. JMO He has been a loyal and active POA contributor.

Thanks Rich for posting this story.

Thanks Rich and all who posted. The guys at this dealership are really enthusiastic about our cars; and I have done business with them for years. I hate that this happened. We prowler owners took a hit on this deal but they do seem to understand that there are a few impatient folks out there. I was really surprised to say the least. They are Good Folks who will try to help everyone. Kinda like the POA members I have met.
