Holy Cow!! I spent three days up at our lake cottage this past weekend, doing Spring cleaning and the like (it was a good weekend to get out of Dodge as Bob stayed home and worked on income tax!!!). Just got home and found 28 emails, all from fellow owners!!

I promise I will get them all answered in the next couple of days. Unfortunately, I had an "accident" (not car) while I was there and I am pretty bruised up and very stiff and sore. I'm movin' a little slow, but I am going to try to make it to the CAAP store before the end of the week......if I can't get there, I will at least call Joyce and have her hold the items that you all requested until I can come and pick them up. Thanks for the patience!!!

PCP.....I knew that someone would comment on that!! lol! Having lived in the West, as I see you do, I was thinking more like the old western movie line!!!

Woman's ladder?......Hmmmmmm...how am I going to answer that one!? Let's see.......

It was actually worse than that......

Ladder? I was brought up in my married life knowing that you have to have the proper equipment and tools for the job at hand, and normally, I use them. Bob used to travel all the time for AMC and I spent a lot of time on my own at home. I learned to be very self-sufficent. I have a great knowledge on how to use screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, saws, and just about anything else. I'm darn handy, actually, and can take apart and put together most things. I didn't have the patience to wait for Bob to get home on the weekends to fix things around the house and for the boys. So, I did what most men don't do...I read directions....and learned how!!

However, the ladder available up there is pretty rickety and based on what actually happened ...ladder......chair....step-stool.... wouldn't have made any difference!!!

So, lesson learned, I will heal and I am going to get a new ladder or something out of this!!

There were no directions.......

Fixumm......you keep putting up smart-a$$ comments on this thread, I'm going to get that hat instead of you! However, I have won several and after the first one, I just started choosing someone new who I felt deserved one and gave mine away!

CJ,

I concur with a previous post, spring-cleaning is much too dangerous--so I gave it up. Hope you heal quickly!

CJ, hope your feeling better. Based on your experience with the spring cleaning thing I think I will just go clean up the Kat and keep my feet on the ground. That should count since it is spring.
