I plan on replacing my tires any day now with Goodyear Eagle HP Ultra Plus tires, which are the same or similar tread pattern as the stock tires but are non-runflats. I am going with non-runflats because they are lighter and the sidewalls are much softer. Many on this forum have replaced their tires with Dunlop SP9000 tires. CNOTE6 was offering a phenomenal deal in his post here , selling them for $209 a piece. I unfortunately prefer the stock tread pattern of the Goodyears or I would have jumped on this deal. For reference, Tire Rack (www.tirerack.com) is selling these same tires for $327 a piece. ------------------ MTD Prowler Intake System 2.2 This message has been edited by William Gallagher on 03-24-2002 at 09:20 PM |

Fixaflat - I'm thinking when the day comes, changing to BFG T/A's - non-run flats. I like their tread pattern the best, and the price is better also. I'll add $6 per year emergency road service to my insurance policy, and let them pay for a flat/fix repair if needed. ------------------ AlleyCat Productions, Inc |

I've had Dunlop SP9000s for two years and they are really great. Softer ride, better traction, especially when it's wet, and not noisy at all. The tread pattern also matches my flames. All of my cars, by the way, use SP900s. |

SP9000's Great Ride and LOOK Awesome on the Kat! Much softer ride than the EMT Runflats. JMO ------------------ |

I went with the Goodrich run flats. ZR rated. Had a blow out before, will never run anything but run flats on the car. I'll sacrifice the ride for being stuck somewhere in BFE with no cell phone service. http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum2/HTML/000255.html ------------------ |
