Given the awesome sound system in the kat, what's your favorite kind of music or artist to cruise by? My preferences lean toward classic rock, and definitely NOT rap! |

Buddy Holly, the Beatles, the Bee Gees (early) and the Beach Boys just to name a few B's. And when I die, and when I'm gone, Blood Sweat and Tears. Mamas and Papas. Paul Simon Graceland, Meatloaf, Bat out of Hell. Queen's greatest hits. Billy Joel. Too many to pick just a few. ------------------ |

That's what I like about POA members — diversity! I still think KISS is the only band that matters. Norm and Pat, love your new signature, and Ed, your bumpers are sweet! Kevin |

It's what ever the mood at the time is like all the above mentioned and my fav. AC/DC But I'm sure the best music to listen to is the engine starting and the garage door opening for the cruise to begin. There is no sweeter music ever composed in my books, they just make the smile get a little bigger. PK |

jkburns, There was a really good post started by Marty Usher a good while back. You might be able to find it. He asked what everybody would put on a cruisn' CD. There were some great answers. Some posts listed 100 songs. Try a search for it if you get a chance. Voodoo |

In Old Time Rock & Roll: Roarin' down the freeway with "Little Deuce Coupe" or almost any Beach Boys. Oh, and CRANK IT UP!! In country it is "Big Boys Toys".. My sound system works the reverse of the speed controled ones.. The faster the song, the faster the car goes... hehehe ------------------ |

I would have to agree with most that it depends on the mood. I know one thing I always keep the George Thorogood CD (The Baddest of George Thorogood) in the Kat. This has the song BAD TO THE BONE, which the Kat is! I love to go by a group of people blasting that song!!! |

Throw in a little "ZZ TOP" and "Huey Lewis and the News", crank up the volume, and watch the bass rattle the side-view mirrors |
