Just curious, as I'm new to the POA. Who has the most miles on their Kat? What, if any, major problem was encountered? ------------------ |

Probably my guess would be Larry Lord, from those that post regularly. He had a head start on me but as a daily driver I will put about 30,000 per year on mine. With about 25,000 on it now I have only had some minor annoying rattles, leaks, etc. to deal with. Happy Prowling Marty ------------------ Driving my Dream |

I can tell you for sure, it won't be me. After four years, I only have 7120 miles on my Kat. ------------------ |

Larry Lord had nearly 50,000 on his first yellow cat before replacing it with another yellow. Jerry Pignolo, Mesa, Az has 45,000 on his '97 Debbie Angell, Chandler, Az has over 40,00 on her '97 Bob - I have 17,000 on my Y2K, no problems. Az cats luv to cruise ------------------ |

Todd - you could be right? Last I heard #1 ole yeller was around 50,000. He is the self proclaimed KING OF THE MILES,,,,,,,,,,,,,,funny, when I was fueling up at a Colton, Ca gas station (Lord's homebase) three people there asked me what the cat was KING OF THE MILES, doesn't get around much in Colton (except the DQ drive-up) |

A/C, they probably knew but thought you looked so forlorn and lonely that they just wanted to strike up a conversation with you, to make you feel better. ------------------ |

Sure PK, jump on Ed's side. I may give your west coast distributor position of AC products to Dan Garcia in Ca. You have only sold 7 AC left handed metric cresent wrenches,,,,,,,,Marty has sold 64. Get to work, or get the boot! |

I had 55,000 on my first one and now a little over 28,000 on this one for TOTAL PROWLER MILES OF 83,000 I've slowed down a lot (sometimes I need to work and sleep) but I still roll them on pretty fast. "King of the Miles" |

CJ - Bob needs to build a snow plow blade for one of your cats. That way, all you Mi cats can cruise in the inclement conditions you live within. Snow tires and chains might also help! |

I rather like Ed's banner like that, looks like he is pearing into the board wondering why he is outside looking in. Work? Sleep? what are those things? o money? whats money? *looks around for da money* ------------------ |

AC - We received snow blades and tire chains as standard equipment... I believe Az Kats got a/c, or better known to you desert rats as "refrigeration". If you look real hard at Mike's CAAP pic's, the Kat right behind his on the assembly line, had a blade, color matched, already installed. Geez AC , I thought you knew all 'bout these Kats?!? ------------------ |

35,500 in less than 2 years. I plan on having 50,000 by year's end. ------------------ |

Bob and Carol / Ted and Alice - Yes, when I moved to Az in 1975, they referred to ac as refrigeration. It took me afew years, but that is all changed now. People listened to the A/C and believed - these are the same Az people reading my 'Final Four' predictions in OFF TOPIC, and betting their life savings. As for knowing that the final blue cat came with a snow blade>? I knew that,,,,,,,but it will not be needed in Houston, Texas. Other than that, I know JACK. That is why I read this website everyday - to become more informed on the world's great topics and conversations ------------------ AlleyCat Productions, Inc |

AC - just in case anyone ask, 1st day of Spring, we all take the snow blades, snow tires and chains off... Then put on the mowing decks... (UGH!) Remember... Mowing??? This Kat is truely a multi purpose piece, eh? Ted & Carol - What happened to Alice??? (Had to ask) My Carol just viewed your banner.... the Kat is soooo cool! ------------------ |

I guess Alice isn't so popular anymore! LOL Thanks for the atta boy on the banner. I have an animated version of the cat/prowler where the mountain lion morphs into a Prowler. Unfortunately, it is too big to post here as an image. It's kinda neat though. It is amazing how well the front of the Prowler maps to the face of a cat. I'd like to talk more, but I've got to go cut the grass! ------------------ |
