Mike, it is a shame you didn't get it LAST Monday when it was in the upper 50's or lower 60's and sunny. Be careful of a state trooper speed trap from mile marker 20 north to about mile marker 45. There have been numerous fatal accidents and they are heavily patrolling that area in Ohio. Also coming southbound, of course. Again, congratulations and hope to see you in May in Louisville. ------------------ |

Oh my! Gloomy morning but it cleared on the way to Piqua. Beautiful (but cold) by lunch time, which is when we arrived. Dan Lawrence at Sherry Chrysler had the Kat shined up and full of gas, paperwork took no time (seemed to me). SEVEN miles on the Kat when he handed me the keys. He took some digital pics, I'll post them when I get them. He has sold 10-11 Kats and has pics of his Prowler customers in his sales cube. Took five minutes to drive the 170 miles home. I didn't have to worry about the troopers because I had my Dad in tow. He is not a hot foot so we took our time, never got it much over 70. I figured that was fine until I get a few miles on her. Splashguards were on it when I got there. Ceramic pads have alreadt been delivered to my buds wheel and brake shop. I stopped at Auto Zone tonight while cruising and picked up a length of washer fluid hose for the top fix. They didn't charge me a penny! Braces and intake ordered from Magic Touch. Tim Mills kit and Z-Graphic ghost flames waiting in the wings. Stopped at Wendy's for lunch after picking the car up. Parked WAY in the back where it'd be safe. Kid was bringing the trash out, got my first compliment on the car then. On the way home I had an elderly woman passenger unbuckle her seat belt and turn around as she passed me. A kid in an SUV jumped seats to get to the rear window as his Dad passed me. I don't know how many thumbs up. What surprised me was the reaction was from every gamut of the age range. Unreal! Some kids at a stop light lowered the blackened back window of their SUV to yell "DUDE! SWEET!". Cracked me up. Then I get home and find an email saying you guys won me the post of the week thing so I get a tee shirt or windshield banner. THANKS! Mike (still not sleepy!) |

Could it Be? Ordered a Candy Red from my Cuz at Motorwerks Leasing in Dayton. He was aquiring it from a D/C Store in th 'hood. Due to arrive late Feb. However, my beautiful blue Mulholland came available 6 weeks ago and I couldn't resist her. Took her home immediately (Of course i spiffed my Cuz.) If you find a "Made expressly for R.J. Wheaton" in the glove box... let's make a deal. (GRIN) Between spending time with the P.O.A, garage duty and cruz'n you'll never get much sleep! Ain't life grand!!! Best of luck!
