David, I thought you paid extra for all that video footage. At least you have the best color combo on the video! ------------------ |

Will this cd work on a Mac? Either way, my payment is going out today. I am just curious if it was cross platform. ------------------ MTD Prowler Intake System 2.2 |

In the rush to get the CD's out, we forgot to put an "informational" sticker on the back of the CD. Sorry for the confusion. This CD is designed to be used on a computer with a Microsoft Windows compliant operating system and is best viewed with Internet Explorer 5.0 or greater. If the CD doesn't self start, double click on the CD icon on My Computer or click on the index.html file in the main directory of the CD. Please note that this is a computer CD and will not play on an audio CD player or DVD player. ------------------ |

I also just got mine and like Bill G. have a Mac. ( I also have a PC, but MAC is primary.) On the MAC, it seems that I am only able to view the pictures and html if I access directly each page from the directories. The problem that I have found is that when any of the html tries to link or reference any picture or page with more than 8 characters in the name, it can't. I notice that most all of the linked .jpgs or html pages should have longer than 8 characters in their names (when viewing the html links), but when looking at the directories, everything longer than 8 characters have been truncated to 8. Thus the files can't be found by the referring link. Make sense? On a tech note, are the names as RECORDED on the CD actually longer than 8 characters and my MAC truncates them, or were they truncated when recorded onto the CD? However, I enjoyed the video very much the pix also. Just had to access them directly and could not use the convenient and orderly html links. ------------------ This message has been edited by Andy R on 02-27-2002 at 07:14 AM |

Hey Laddie, Thank You!! Hey Mike Gatlin, I really enjoyed how you cought me on video on the yellow prowler rear view mirror and then merged into my Prowler Burnout at Paxton Headquarters. I would have known this kind of stuff was being done I would have included all the banners I have made thru out the years. Cliff and I could have come up with a decent flash movie for this... Maybe on the next one if there is a next one. Once I finished seeing the CD I was motivated to come up with something... OH WELL... Nice Job Mike Gatlin...!! |
