Hee Hee Hee, I know it was a silly question, but, I am so excited about taking delivery of my Inca Gold baby this Saturday, I told my husband I may have to make it my everyday car for a while!

Of course it's not pratical, but I drive it everyday!! Yeah, sometimes I could use more storage space; but 95% of the time it is great!! I can always a truck from work or we can drive my wife's Avalon if we need to pick up other people.

I have been driving mine everyday since last summer rain or shine with no complaints...it is a reasonably good daily driver. I have to admit though that I have recently purchased an old beater Oldsmobile from my parents so I can leave the Kat home in bad weather. It is a little scarry to drive the Kat in the rain with gears installed as the rear end likes to break loose on wet roads when shifting from 1st to 2nd, especially when going around a corner.

I drive mine everyday, it goes to the grocery, Walmart, etc etc...just always keep in mind you don't want to buy anything too big when you are out in it, it may not fit...if you put a lot of miles on it you will find your self at the gas pumps everyday and sometimes twice a day because of the small fuel tank...snow is a problem, they don't do well in deep snow which is obvious, but mine doesn't even leak in a hard rain...only other consideration is passengers, sometimes they have a hard time fitting in the car if they are too large....in general, it is the most fun car to drive everyday I have ever owned...far more fun than sitting in a garage all the time...it's like driving a one car circus....BUY IT TO DRIVE !!!

Memz,

I drive mine every day to work and every other chance I get. Sure, you can't carry much in it, but the smiles it brings to me and all the poeple who see the Kat make it worth while. This car was made to be driven.

Also, get a Weekender, at least you can do some shopping!! :{>

I use to drive my Prowler daily but it was my only car and I had no choice. Eventually I decided to only bring it out if there was no chance or rain (or anything worse) and picked up a retired police interceptor for every day use. It comes down to this. Is the Prowler practical? Not a chance! But that's the best part about it.

If you have a second car, make that your daily driver. If you don't have a second car, get one. It doesn't have to be anything special, just something to get from point A to point B and maybe have a little storage space.

Make no mistake though. I drive my Prowler every chance I get as you should yours.

Anyway, just my 2 cents. Take it or leave it.

Yep. Every day -- unless it rains -- then I take the truck. (I hate getting spattered road grime on the Kat).

Mine's a daily driver! Only time I take the truck is if it ices. Of course, here in Texas, that's not too often.

I drive mine everyday, but I did buy a '78 Camaro to drive to work (don't care to park at work) and for bad weather. I currently have almost 35,000 miles and I haven't had her for two years yet. Wouldn't trade her for the world.
