I stop by every now and then. Not at all like I use this board. I have spoken to Tom Kalski on the phone but never met him. The two boards should be able to co-exist, although I believe there are still a lot of hard feelings. ------------------ |

Wonder what seems to be the problem with some of us here. Acting like cattle. Opinions are great, I know, everyone has one. I've gotten three emails on the bashing already. It's sad,. Someone even registered as POA Forever. cute, wonder who that was? Who's the next one to pick up a brick???? Another proud day for the POA,,,,,,,,,,,, my two cents, ------------------ |

I see no reason that both sites cannot get along peacefully. Tom Kalski has always been a straight shooter with me. I know his heart is in the Prowler and his website. I wish him well! I spoke to Tom last week and expressed my feelings about registering at the PPC site. I will not have anything to do with the PPC site as long as there is ANY connection to Nowell or the Carnuts site. My feelings are that there was a mass ripoff committed by the PPC site while Nowell owned it. I'm still having irate PPC members calling me about their never shipped membership items. I changed channels once and I'm happy to be here with the POA. |

Nothing personal against PPC site (I hope they don't try to cash the $19.99 check I sent last May before I found this site- still not cleared my bank)- but all my Prowler friends are here and I barely have time to keep up on one site. With everything here, I see no reason to go to other site. If others are happy there, that's their business!! Marty ------------------ Driving my Dream |

Marty, here is deal on checks to ppc. Tom wrote on the front page: I will tell you that I have yet to cash ANY checks that have been mailed to me since May '01 and I will be sending them back to everyone along with a letter as to why they were never cashed. I will leave it up to those individuals as to whether they would still like join or not. |

JD, I'm sorry! I didn't understand what the problem was when I posted my last reply. I hadn't checked out the PPC site until just now. Tom Kalski and the PPC, I apologize to you for whoever felt the need to do this on your site. If it was in my power they would be tracked down and banished forever. Please let me know if I can do anything to help. To the people of the POA, Please stop this type of sabotage! Posts like this have caused many good Prowler owners to walk away. Many of them are good friends of mine. Get over it! It's about the cars and the people,,,not personal agendas. I've stated many times that I'm proud to be a POA associate,,,today I'm disgraced. |

Chris......you want my thoughts?.......here are my thoughts....... Last I knew, this is a free country. Along with that comes free choices. Everyone has a right to their own opinions and the right to state those opinions. Tom Kalski has the right to have a Prowler club just as we have the right to have our Prowler association. Prowler owners have the right to belong to either group or both if they choose, without fear of bashing or criticism for their choices. I think it is time to put all of this into perspective and then in the past. There are far too many things in this world that are more important to worry about than if there are one or two Prowler clubs. A long time ago, I also had issues with the two individuals who were running the PPC. I did not have issues with all the other people who belonged to that club. I made my choice of leaving and moving on to another alternative which I have been more than happy with. I wish Tom luck with his endeavor. I'm sure he will do the best job he can with his club and for his club members. Mike and Tony and Tony have done a superb job with this website and I, as well as everyone else that belongs to this group, are thankful to them for providing this opportunity to all Prowler owners. The older I get, I hope the wiser I get. Holding on to anger, holding grudges and other behavior of that sort is only counter-productive to our own well-being. The past is the past and we certainly cannot change it. We can, however, change the future. Life is way too short and I, for one, am not going to waste any more time or energy worrying about things from the past that I cannot change. Think about 911.....about our military servicemen and women who are fighting a war to protect our country and our freedoms....about how lucky we are to have a job....how fortunate we are to own such a cool car......about our families and what they mean to us........about our children and their welfare........are these ongoing, negative feelings about another group of people really important or productive in the big scheme of things???? Not in my opinion.......and it's just my opinion.....but I've moved on and will continue to move on........are you going with me? ------------------ Classic/Beautiful - I'm referring to the Cat of course! I'm following the leader. I don't know who posted that at the PPC, but I've been told that their ISP # can be traced down to who it was. I would think that the person who did it should send Tom Kalski an apology and ask him to delete it from there website. They have the right to exist and continue for the good of the Prowler owners they service. Let us move on, forward, and have a good time. ------------------ This message has been edited by ALLEY CAT on 02-06-2002 at 03:22 PM |

I've got no issues with the PPC and never knew it was out there when I found POA back in 4/2001. Just clicked over to the other site and found that Jerry is there posting that he was unfairly booted and wants justice. Is it not true that Jerry asked for the POA to vote if he was to go or stay and he was voted out???? I don't get it. Strange. I don't know Jerry from Adam and have no issues with anyone on either site. Enough said. Alex ------------------ |

Alex - You are right, Jerry asked for the vote himself and got the axe. In a way, it was too bad, as he did bring many good things to the table as per performance ideas and technical information. I guess it is impossible to please everyone. |

Short and Sweet: Tom took over the site for the benefit of all owners, because the previous owner pissed alot of people off from what I have heard. Tom is a straight forward person and cares about what owners want and need. I use POA about 90% of the time now. I will now give the new owner of the Prowler Club a chance at making a change for the good for all prowler owners. Please support both sites for the good of us all! I have no financial or family ties to either site. Mike K. and Tom K. are good men for helping all of us become closer and share our knowledge of the ownership experience. |

j paulsen - I think I said the same thing way up above, but glad you said it much better. My idea of a car club or association is: 1. sharing of information 2. making new friendships 3. enjoying cruising and gatherings events I feel this is the objective of both websites now. People are people, and there are going to be a$$holes in every group. We need to overlook and ignore those that don't share the positive approach to building a better group of Prowler owners. The LONE WOLF tag might fit afew people. |
