Greetings kat lovers,
I will soon be purchasing the car of my dreams, a new prowler. After attending the NAIAS this past weekend, I'm
sold on the candy red, it's beautiful! I've always wanted one since seeing the concept car at the Detroit Auto Show years ago. Could you offer any do's and don'ts to a new owner? Also are there any tours planned for the CAAP? Is there a phone number I can call to arrange a tour? The web site is great, it's been very helpful and informative. I'll be joining as soon as I'm an owner.

see ya on da road,
Gary

You can do a search, on the right side of the screen, and enter new owners and it should list a few things. Front ONLY ceramic brake pads, mud flaps for sure, ALWAYS tie down the top when it is in the trunk or you can get wear spots from the carpet liner in the trunk.
Plan to make it to some of the events so you can see some of the neat modifications, some of which are relatively cheap. IGNORE MeanGene. Get oldies discounts from MoPar Dave. SMILE, SMILE, SMILE.

Gary, welcome! There are lots of MI Prowler owners who can share ideas. I'd suggest reviewing past posts for recommendations on what to get initially. Try the search function about mud flaps, waxes, bras, etc. You'll find a wealth of information from all of these talented and experienced owners.

Congratulations and welcome to POA. Also you do not need to wait until you get your cat to join. This site is for cat lovers whether you own one or not. Just jump in the water is fine.
