Is it worth while to buy an extended warranty for my Prowler. My warranty runs out in July. Has anyone bought the extended warranty and how much does it cost?

I would also like to say thanks for the help on my flaking chrome wheels. I ran my Prowler up to my local dealer and he ordered me 4 new wheels and center caps and didn't ask one question. Thanks for all the input.

I think the extended warranty is worth it I got the Max Care 7 yr 50 K mile (goes 7 yrs from car out in service).
I have a 99 purple that the warranty runs out in Feb.
I called Bob Cooper at Causeway Chrysler (Thank you Laddie and GaryC)and some others, but Bob gave me the best price. Under $1200 for a $0 deductible.
His phone number is 985-892-9165.

Jason,

The answer is Yes if...

1.You plan on keep it.
2.You can pay for the 7yr/100K extended warranty or lesser versions, price you pay is "negotiable", but I have seen varied $$$ listed on this site based on location, the person negotiating, etc. Check with your dealer and get their "best" price and shop that price on this site -BEFORE YOU SIGN ANYTHING.Remember, you are buying "peace of mind and dollar" insurance. If you damaged either front strut (the black thing near the front tire area), for instance, just one of these is approx. $435.00 not counting labor. Hint, Hint!

The answer is No if...

1. You're a gambler...and believe in luck!
2. A gearhead and able to repair and fix anything.
3. Have connections at DC Parts warehouse.

Good Luck!

I have a extended from Warranty Gold. They have 3 or different scenarios. Mine is the Diamond 0 deductible
but you can do what fits best.

In fact I have one on all my cars and they have handled all the repairs to my satisfaction.
