Our state only requires just the back plate which I'm happy with, so taking off the front bumpers is no problem. Was wondering for those who have removed the front bumpers, where do you attach your plates.

Mine sits under the carpet on the passenger side. Here in Texas they require front plates. But I'll never put it on. I've never been stopped yet, but if I do get stopped I plan on giving the cop a lame excuse that the plate normally sits on top of the dash and it must have slipped off!LOL

Front plates are mandatory in California. When I got my plates I went to the dealer. The tech wasn't sure where they went, but when I saw him get a hand drill...my front plate is on a shelf in the garage!

Front plate on the Kat, yea right!!! Law no law, I'm not drilling into my bumper. The plate is around here some where. I haven't seen it in 2 years.

I heard there was a law requiring front plates, but mine sit in the envelope in the pocket behind the passenger seat!

Being as I'm a blonde I can tell the officer that there was no place to attach them.

I have 2 Kats, one of which I keep in Washington state. I bought a neat front holder from some guys in the Twin Cities, but when I got the car to Seattle, I asked the dealer where they recommended putting the front plate. The reply was, "I've never seen one come in here with a front plate". Under the passenger seat seemed like the next best place.
