No matter what color Prowler (BLACK is best of course), you will attract lots of attention. If I were getting a new one, I'd go for a Candy Red: limited #'s.

Yellow, of course, but my second choice would be a Mulholland.

I think that Andy R's right. Go for the last color to be made if you can get it. Candy Red. It looks pretty nice. I have a Black Kat myself, which of course I think is the best color. However it will be your Kat. I wouldn't let others opinions move you too much. People will stop and simile no matter what color it is.

Good Luck on your choice,
Voodoo

Top Cat..

ALL Prowler colors are cool. I Love Black, I like Yellow...All Prowler colors ROCK!!..but..??

I would definitly go for the Candy Red. Besides being awsome; The Candy Red will definitly be one of the most sought after and rare colors of the Prowler series.

And...don't get shafted!

Candyred is my first choice, all dealers I have been talking to are asking 2k-5k over MSRP-no good...The Prowler is so cool (hot rod) style, picking the right color is tuff. This a car you want to keep all of the rest your of life...

Yellow does attract these little yellow butterflies
they have around Colorado and Kansas in the summertime.
I know from experience.

Buy a Candy Red from Canada where this time of year dealers will sell for MSRP or less. And MSRP is a lot lower in Canada for some strange reason. MSRP is $40,400 US (64,500 CDN).

You can have a common color like those other folk, or you can have a very rich color - GOLD!

Actually, the kat is so unique it would look good in any color. There aren't a lot of cats out there so it won't be like shopping at the supermarket. You might just have to get a whatever color, because that is what is available.

Another color fight (DEBATE). I just love these. As you can see I have a purple one however I kind of wish I would have waited. The yellow ones are arewsome. There is a vendors website with a yellow car with customized interior and it looks great.

I'm looking to buy a Candy Red myself. I've got two dealers lined up trying to get me one that don't charge a premium. I just hope they can get one. 1500+dealers in the US trying to get 1 of 300 Candy Red is pulling some serious strings. If Red falls through though I will be looking for Silver cuz I want to stay in the '02 lineup. I don't really like Gold or Orange although on the Prowler, I admit it looks good.

I have had quite a few Kats...People liked the black ones, just hard to maintain....yellow is a knockout, can't miss it...silver is a good color if you intend to drive it alot, always looks clean....blue is classy(although not my favorite)...I have to admit the orange has recieved more positive comments than ANY color I have owned by a wide margin....there are currently 11 Kats in my town and a 12th on the way....most people hate the gold one, just a matter of taste...purple would be hard to find a no miler if you want that...the original red is a real eye catcher, but again hard to find with no miles...try to get at least a 2000 up model, the ride is tremendously better for the road...look the orange over seriously and you may be VERY surprised how it grows on you...everybody in my town talks about the orange one of mine and how it is the best color they have seen on one of these cars...
Orange great color and one you won't find at every show either...black is very sharp, but fairly common...yellow, also a great color but again, very common among Kats...blue is common around here, 3 in my town...purple, hard to get... red, hard to get....silver, looks great on the car, easy maintenance, personally think the car deserves better...gold is possibly the most unpopular color, I have herad very little positive comments about the one locally...kandy, yet to be seen, but will no doubt be a popular choice....in short, get what you want and don't worry about what anyone else thinks about it....

TUIB - Me thinks you maybe haven't seen a gold up close and personal. I get more darn compliments with Goldie. My dealer has a yellow in the showroom right now. So many people have asked me if I've seen the yellow and then follow with they like mine better. They say the yellow is just, well, too yellow.
Today at the dealer (another thread will say what I was doing there) a guy was looking at the yellow and a salesman told him I had a Prowler. He said "The gold one?". I said "yes", He said "So you're the one!" . I replied, "Yep, I'm the one.". He said "I owe you tribute!" I chuckled and thanked him.

Sunbird....OOPS ...just relaying what I hear personally...there is a gold Kat here in town I have stood and looked at different times for a long period...personally, I haven't quite made up my mind on the color...I do like the fact it is different and it does show up on the street....I was just passing on what I heard from people when the car was in the showroom(it still is)...one thing doesn't help is the fact it is parked with a yellow Viper and the two colors don't look well side by side...I had very mixed reactions about my own orange Kat in the beginning...bought it as a fill-in while waiting for another car, and it has startled me the positive comments it receives...I didn't care for the orange color at all at first...the best part is you like it and will rarely pull up beside another one ANYWHERE(unless you come to New Castle) ...thats what makes these cars fun...
